Okay, this is a little one-shot that I wrote for my collection of one-shots for the OC Juliane Wallace for "She'll Be Fine", but it ended up having more Dasey in it than Treviane which is the pairing for that particular story. Just so you know a little about Juliane before reading this... she's Sam's younger sister and is about fifteen months younger than him and she and Trevor date for the biggest part of my story "And To Make Matters Worse..." So just so you know, this one-shot starts out with a brief Treviane scene that sets up the scene for Dasey before it switches to Dasey. And that was an extremely long explanation. I hope that you guys enjoy!

“What about Quinn?” Trevor suggested as he flipped through the book.
Juliane wrinkled up her nose and took another bite of her ice cream before answering, “No. That’d be too hard for Scarlett to pronounce. You know that she says green instead of queen and grit instead of quit. Our son would probably be called Gwen. And as cute as Sax’s little nickname is, I don’t really want to have a son named Gwen.”
He sighed and continued flipping through the book in search of another name. Juliane had already said no to Aiden, Devlin, Conlan, and now Quinn as names for their twin sons.
“Brennan?” he asked going back to a name that he had previously suggested.
Juliane put down her bowl and let it rest on her stomach for a moment before she held out her hand to Trevor.
“Let me see the book.”
He complied and she ran her finger along the list of names before she finally came to the name ‘Brennan’.
“Trevor, it means broom-covered hill. So that would be a no.”
Trevor frowned, “Why not? There’s nothing wrong with the name.”
“Oh no, there’s nothing wrong with the name at all. In fact, why don’t we just name our son Broom Covered Hill Sorvino? There, we have the first name and two middle names all lined up for him. Isn’t that the most perfect name ever? What are we going to name his brother? Mop Filled River? That’d just be great.”
Trevor sighed and took the book back from his wife.
“Okay, no Brennan then.”
Juliane picked up her bowl and went back to focusing her attention on her ice cream.
“I still don’t see what’s so wrong with the name Troy,” she complained as she stirred the contents of her ice cream together to form a soupy mess.
“I am not naming my son after someone from High School Musical. So yes, before you say anything… that does mean no Ryan, Chad, or anyone else from that movie. We went over this when you wanted to name Scarlett Sharpay.”
Juliane pouted, “But it would keep with your mom’s pattern for her sons. You could name her grandsons Troy and Trevor Junior.”
Trevor closed the book and set it aside before he turned to his wife.
“Okay, Juliane… First of all, your whole name that starts with a ‘Tr’ sound doesn’t work out. You forgot to figure in Todd to the equation. Second of all, there is also no way that we are naming our son Trevor Junior… something that could quite possibly warrant him the nickname TJ. That also means we will not name him Dustin Joseph, Michael John, or Benjamin Jody. No initial names. That’s too much of a Derek thing to do.”
Juliane shrugged and held the bowl to her mouth to drink the last of her melted ice cream.
“Okay, no initial names,” she agreed. “But what about Gabriel or Taylor? Those are nice names for a boy. Oh, and Taylor starts with a T!”
Trevor raised an eyebrow and Juliane sighed.
“Okay, okay. Nothing to do with High School Musical. Got it.”

Less than ten minutes away there was a similar conversation taking place.
“So, how do you feel about the name Percival?”
The question was met with laughter and the person who asked the question raised an eyebrow.
“Care to elaborate? Or are you just going to laugh at every suggestion that I make?”
Derek shook his head, “Casey, go ahead and name our son Percival if you want him to come home everyday with a wedgie and a black eye.”
“There is nothing wrong with the name Percival! I think it’s cute!”
“Says the woman who also thought the names Franklin, Arthur, and oh, what was the last one? Oh yeah, Chester. I still think we should go with the oldie, but goody, Derek. It’s worked for me for twenty-five years. Oh, and get this. We could call him DJ. How awesome is that?”
“Oh, it’s awesome alright,” Casey responded dryly. “Derek, that name has gotten the same response each and every one of the fifty times that you have suggested it. Why do you think now is any different from those previous fifty time?”
“You’ll say anything to get me into bed?” Derek offered hopefully.
Casey rolled her eyes.
“Look around you Derek… we’re already in bed. Besides, what happened to Mr. I’m-afraid-we’ll-hurt-the-baby-so-let’s-stay-abstinent-through-the-entire-pregnancy?”
Derek shrugged and smirked at Casey, “What can I say? I can’t go a full nine months without sex. I’m The Derek Venturi, after all.”
Casey thought for a moment.
“Okay, you agree to one of the next five names that I suggest and you may get lucky tonight. Deal?”
“Deal. And I didn’t say abstinent. I said we won’t have sex.”
Casey shook her head, “That’s what abstinent means, genius.”
She grabbed the book from the bedside table and began to flip through the boy section of names.
“Okay, As.”
Derek sighed, “Anything in the As can’t be as bad as Arthur, I don’t think. Bring it on. We are so having sex tonight.”
“Aandaleeb.”
“That’s not a name.”
Casey pointed to the name on the page, “It’s right there.”
“Damnit!”
“Abednago.”
“Like the fire guy?”
Casey sighed, “Yes. Like the fire guy, Derek.”
“Next? And I know what you’re doing… but it won’t work. Pregnant women are horny. So I know that you want it too.”
“Aladdin?”
Derek let out a small hum as he pondered over the name.
“Aladdin Venturi? I like it. It sounds hardcore.”
“Derek…”
“Okay, so I hate it! But I really want to have sex, Casey! Stop it with these weird names.”
“Alfred.”
“You really don’t want me to answer that.”
Casey grinned at him and licked her lips as her finger traveled back up the page.
“Okay then, what about Alexander?”
Derek sat up a little straighter and looked at her sharply.
“You serious? An honest to God regular name? That can have a normal nickname and won’t get made fun of or anything?”
Casey nodded a let out a small laugh.
“I love it. It’s the best name in the world. Better than Derek Junior even. All boys need to be named Alexander.”
“Really?” Casey asked, unsure, “You think so? Because I really don’t want my son to have a name that every other little boy in the world is named.”
Derek grabbed the baby name book out of Casey’s hands and tossed it to the floor.
“Don’t you know sarcasm when you hear it, woman? Only our son’s going to be named Alexander if I have anything to do with it.”
A little over three months later, Alexander Caden Venturi was born.
I loved that! 'Don't you know sarcasm when you hear it, woman?' That line made me giggle like crazy. Excellent story! _________________ And will you make a full recovery?
Oh, I love Trevor! I have a huge crush on Trevor! You did a great job!

Thanks so much for the comments! I'm glad that you guys liked it. There are some Dasey scenes in another oneshot that I'm writing for the collection, but not enough for it to be considered full Dasey really because it's mostly about Trevor/Juliane. I'll let you guys know when I post it on FFN if you'd like to read it, though.
