A book almost just like Dasey! squee

Okay, so last night I went shopping and I went by Waldenbooks to get something new to read(I luvvels books).
And as I was looking for something, I found a book called 'Shes So Money" by Cherry Cheva.
OMG.
This book was sooo adorable I couldn't put it down. Literally. I read it in one night. 4hours tops.
I guess that main reason why I liked it so much was because the main chars acted like Derek and Casey so much.

Camden;
School King
Whore
Dates girl's way to much
Smirks a lot
Secretly soft hearted
Cocky/Flirty

Maya;
Very smart
Stubborn
Hates Camden
Nerdyish/Un-popular
Tutors kids
Clumsy
Doesn't have many friends
Works for her parents restaurant
Responsible

Any similarities so far?
I thought so to.

And also in the book, Maya hates Camden because of his slutty-ness and cocky attitude. They bicker and fight when she has to talk to him. Its just so cute and Dasey. I loved it.

*Squee along with you*, wow, there are so many shows and books that have the main characters who are like Dasey get together! This further proves my theory that Dasey was planned from the beginning. I mean if it isn't, then why make two characters who are so like the characters from other books and TV shows who gets together, and then hire two actors with SO much chemistry to play the roles? It's destiny, I tell you! Very Happy

P.S. Camden and Maya did get together right?

^Yes! It was so cute and adorable. Because Camden was just so amazing about it.

And irk? All of these love/hate relationships are starting to appear everywhere. Its like, why make a show with l/h, and not let the characters get together?

I stayed up until 4 in the morning to read this book. once I started I just couldn't stop lol. I have a huge headache and I'm really tired.. but it was a brilliant book, and it would make an awsome movie! lol

^The author is Cherry Cheva. She also writes for Family Guy, awesome right? I would kill to have that job. x33333

Haha. After I posted that question I realized you already gave the author's name. But I was too lazy to go back and edit. Haha. And she does? Cool. That'd be an AWESOME job. Haha.

Darn! I was at Barnes and Noble on Saturday too...but forgot to even look for the book. Gosh darnit! (I normally would use a term that's similar but I won't...lol) Next time though. I'll remember.
