Hi, I do not have a signal generator or a scope but I'd like to bias my amp as best as I can without them. My plate voltage is 466 with the bias -43 running el34s. Would you recommend that I change the bias voltage it at all? If so what would you set it to? Is there a math equation that I could use in the the future? Also is it safe to pull the outer two power tubes and set the speaker impedance up a setting to run the amp at half the output power? Thanks.
