Sorry, dunno if this has been mentioned before... but Dramione is by far the ship I have shipped the most (besides Dasey of course!!) For those of you not familiar with Harry Potter (tho I wonder why you would be here if you're not, haha), Dramione= Draco Malfoy and Hermione Granger. I got hooked on them when I wandered into Lauren B's wonderful Draco/Hermione (and somewhat Emma Watson/Tom Felton) website. She also made these awesome vids that I love and cherish to this day. She took down her site a while ago, though. Sad And of course.... I read some of the greatest Dramione fanfics out there. I'll name 2 cause I can't really remember the rest (which were all saved on my last comp, which died, unfortunately, and took all the info with it Sad ). The first I read was "Their Room". Long, dramatic, absolutely brilliant. And the author made acknowledgments to the most famous Dramione fic I think I've ever encountered... "We'll Always Have Paris". Granted these fics are pretty old, written around the time the Goblet of Fire novel came out, but they are AWESOME!! Absolutely wonderful. I don't remember the names of the authors, but the fics should be on ff.net. You can also google them, they're so famous they're on a couple of different websites, especially "We'll Always Have Paris". Anyways, enough rambling... I just really love this pair. Even though they were not even close to becoming canon (unlike Dasey) they still make a hot, sexy pair nonetheless. I mean come on, now... Imagine a cold, cruel, mysterious wizard paired up with an intelligent, fiery, and stubborn witch?? Now that's magic for ya... I started writing a fanfic which I never finished, being busy with school and all. I made a couple of vids, the last 2 being kickass since I finally managed to get hold of a trial version of Sony Vegas 8.0 (trial ran out tho, damn). But yeah, that's all I have to say. If there are anymore Dramione fans out there, feel free to share your thoughts! I also ship Ron/Hermione, but not as much as Dramione, because well a canon ship has already sailed, a non-canon is so much more interesting to me. I've also been shipping Harry/Ginny years before the Half-Blood Prince came out. I've also gotten into Hermione/Lupin. I love student-teacher relationships, especially since I've had a crush on a teacher in high school and a TA at my college lol... okay, enough sharing for me... sorry I tend to ramble a lot, especially now that I feel more comfortable in this forum... bye. ROFL

DRAMIONE WHOOT.

Definitely second place, if not tied with Delena, in my most beloved pairings. (First is dasey, of course Very Happy)

Yeah, it's just really hot, you know? Haha.

"We'll Always Have Paris" was the first dramione I've ever read and the one that got me into it, I'm pretty sure. It's SUCH a classic. I could read it over and over all day.Smile

Heh heh heh... I'm just thinkin. If Dasey is what some of us call "the dark side", Dramione would be even darker. I wish JKR woulda switched up the pairs a bit, yknow? Even she did end up putting Ron/Hermione and Harry/Ginny together at the very end, at least we woulda had some material to work with. Perhaps she could have hinted at a little Dramione attraction? It's jus somethin bout the goodwitch/badwizard that gets me so hooked...

I think the whole Rose/Scorpius thing hint at the end was a nod to us dramione shippers, I mean, if we can't get dramione in ACTUALITY, it'd be pretty fun to have their second generation hook up, right?

Hmmm... hehehe that's very interesting... I didn't even realize that till now... I think there have been a few Dramione hints, especially in books 3 and 4... too lazy to look em up now... but they were very subtle, and they were never really expanded on. Mebbe JKR did have some plans for them but never followed through?

There were lots! I remember a site that had a write up on it. Contraveritas, I think. You could search up on it *shrugs*.

Aw Sad.

I'm glad you still have time for Dasey though! Very Happy

Anyways, they're still awesome, as always, you should really check it sometimes. It's where We'll Always Have Paris originated, I think? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Lol I have no idea... it's been years since I read the fic, I can't even remember where I got it from... I'm pretty sure it was from schnoogle.com. At least that's where I first read it. I think schnoogle is part of a larger website that posts fanfic for Harry Potter. They sort different types of fics into different "houses", like the sorting at Hogwarts. I can't remember much more than that. See, I can keep up with Dasey because there is a concentrated fanbase that I'm around, which is mainly DN and SOMEtimes tv.com. With Harry Potter and Dramione, everything is scattered across the net, it's just too big for me to handle. That's why I never go into any Harry Potter or HP shipping forums or anything. Dasey is nice and concentrated here, and there's not as much material to work with. Plus LWD has become a rather recent interest of mine, but Harry Potter dated back since I was 10 lol so there's just too much source material to deal with when school rolls around. But yeah i've said too much lol. Perhaps once winter break starts I shall get back into it, write a fic or too. Reread We'll always have paris, and chat up some more Dramione with you. Very Happy For now... it's back to college... ugh...

LOL, you're right. When I was in the HP fandom, it never felt like home since, well, there's millions who ship them, literally. That's why I only stick to FFN and contraveritas, just enough to be IN the fandom, and know what's going on, but not enough to be REALLY into it, yanno?

College? You're in college? Cool! Is it as awesome as everyone says?

Hahaha... well that depends on your definition of awesome... I live in the states, in New York City, so by default things here are different than anywhere else in America (or the world for that matter lol). Secondly, my college is about 3 subways stops away from my house lol... so I stay at home. Most people love the idea of going to stay at dorms and stuff, AWAY from parental authority, so I'm guessing that's the awesome part of college everyone mentions, cause the work surely aint. Lol but not to scare you or anything. College is a good time, filled with lotsa hard, hard work, friends, social mixing, working at jobs, mingling on campus, doing a whole bunch of different things you probably never thought you'd do. I guess this is the point in your life where you kinda find out a little more about yourself. You gotta make important decisions about where you're gonna go in life, and I don't mean just in terms of education. It's fun, but a lot of work. I think you will enjoy your experience in college. What grade are you in btw? (not to sound like a stalker lol I'm just curious as to how far away you are from college).
And yes, DN definitely feels like a virtual home for me. I just went through a bad breakup recently so to keep from being depressed I always go here, read some posts, laugh at how much Dasey love there is, and drop a few messages of my own. I don't think that could ever happen in an HP forum where there a gazillion people arguing and fighting and whatnot.

Oh I forgot to add that you learn a lot. A LOT. There's a lot of interesting classes and fields you might not have been exposed to in high school. Just thought I'd add that last bit in. I'm such a dork hehehe.

Oooh, college sounds awesome. And, I just recently got out of Middle School (phew!), so, college is about 4 years away for me. I cannot wait though! It sounds really, really awesome. And I'm always up for trying new things and classes! Very Happy

Aw, I'm sorry to hear about the break up Sad, but I'm glad dasey helps you during this bad time! Bounce

LOL, not to sound like a stalker either, but what's your major(s)?

Thanks, lol. I love this fandom too.
Well I'm only starting my second year (TOMORROW hahaa), so my major isn't set yet, but if I had to choose right now I'd say physics. Yes, I know I'm a nerd haha. Everyone says that wehn I tell them my major it's so funny.
But wow I woulda never thought you were just gettin outta middle school. My little sister is also, and she doesn't sound half as mature as you do. Makes me wonder if I been doin my job as an older sister...

Thanks, haha. -blushes-

I actually get that a lot. Someone I met online told me that they thought I was seventeen, lol. I guess I'm just naturally mature, which is weird because there wasn't any life changing thing that happened to me to make me that way. About a year ago, I would've considered myself extremely immature, since I was like, obsessed with tweendom. Not good tweendom like dasey, either. Stuff like HM, TSL, and HSM. I'm very ashamed of myself, so haha, I'd rather not bring it up. Embarassed

I think I actually became more mature when I came into the dasey fandom, which is around the time I stopped writing things lyk dis. I guess the incredible talent and maturity of this fandom rubbed off on me! Very Happy Haha, I'm sure it has nothing to do with your sister-ing skills (is that a word?), since I have no big sisters. Actually, I have a little brother, which I think helps with developing maturity since it teaches you responsibility while you babysit, yanno?

Tomorrow? Ah, crap. School starts in September for me, but it's not as big a step as everyone says since I go to a 1-9 school, so it's not like I have to go to a brand new school, though I hate my school, it's less intimidating than starting all over as a freshmen Smile.
