I finally had a Dasey dream. It was pretty weird and I think what finally mad e me have the dream was because I created a McDonald and Venturi family on Sims 2, making Casey and Derek go out.

Anyway I can't remember much of it except for Derek and Casey were at the mall with their baby and Casey needed coffee so she went into a Starbucks. Derek was still getting use to being a father so he was a bit overwhelmed each time Casey handed him their kid.

They weren't any older in the dream then they are in the show and out of nowhere that's where my dream started. Already in a relationship with child. lol.

LOL you have a Derek and Casey on the Sims 2 as well?! I made them adults with two kids because I'm impatient and didn't want to have to do their teen years and young adult (ugh) years. I haven't played since I made them, though, because I hate designing houses and I still have to do all of their house.

I like your dream by the way! I could so see Derek doing that for some reason haha. Even though he's good with kids I think he'd be a bit more nervous with his own.

Yep. I was impatient with my family too. I first started it out with Abby, George, Derek, Edwin, and Marti all living together still married in one house with Nora, Dennis, Casey, and Lizzie still married in another house. I made Casey and Derek start dating so when their parents eventually do get married, they wouldn't be related. (Sims has this thing that even if you aren't blood related, your still related so no dating). It ended up turning into a disaster because I got impatient, made Casey and Derek grow up into adults with a cheat, which made them related which meant that I had to break Nora and George up. So now Casey and Derek are still living with Nora, Marti, Lizzie, and Edwin but their engaged. George moved out because Nora is the one who broke up with him. I should have let at least Casey go to college but that takes about 2 or so hours in real life to do that and I couldn't wait that long.

Anyways, your dream sounds interesting! And I can so picture Derek seeming nervous at first. He does really well with kids...but having one of his own and with Casey I can see him being a bit edgy and clueless.

That's awesome I never thought of Make a Derek/Casey Sim. I only have the first Sims but there's a thing you can edit and put the person's face. I was bored and decided to make my cat into a Sim person, it was freaky! Anyway I didn't know there was a rule on the dating people you live with in Sims 2 because I made a character become a widow and after her husband died she hooked up with the maid and they adopted children since they were both women- just to see if we could. BTW it's really easy to make them fall in love with their workers. just keep giving them 100 dollar tips, lol. I'm a weirdo please don't judge. :p

Annnnyway...That's so cool you had a dream finally! I love hearing other people's LWD dreams. I can see Derek getting overwhelmed too- It's different when you're taking care of your little sister. He's a great big brother and hopefully he'll be a great daddy too.

It's okay to get a little off topic. Afterall she had a sims dream.

My ex boyfriend and I made that sims family live in a house that was manipulated that the only way you could get up the five flight of stairs was to swim across the pool. Everyone came over in their bathing suits.

I wonder if I could make a sim with an actual photo of Derek and one of Casey with that program. Hmm.

The only way I could make Casey and Derek not related when their parents decided to get married was to get Derek and Casey into a romantic relationship before that happened. Which wasn't very hard, Casey's first day of school she brought home Derek. Later on in the day they already had their first kiss and started to go steady. So when I got their parents to have a relationship they moved in together and got married. Derek and Casey were considered not related in any form because they were going out. Although everyone else was related to each other. For each of the character's like with the kids their own siblings would only have the family sign such as Derek and Marti, but Edwin and Lizzie don't have a family sign on their sims but they were still considered related.

When I made Casey and Derek grow up (bad idea) they were no longer going out and considered related. So I had to break up Nora and George because I could care less about their relationship, I was only in this for Dasey. lol. So when that happened George moved out but his kids stayed with Nora. So I was able to have Casey and Derek in a relationship again and ended up having Lizzie and Edwin go out although I'm not the biggest Lizwin fan.

lol sorry for the rant, I always make my family's life complex.

You can let the people in college have kids? I've tried to do that but there wasn't an option for it.

The thing about the wife dying and the little girl hooking up with her stepdad reminds me of a family I did with my Sims. I had a family, the Broke family actually, that the two were married and had a few kids together. But then the parents divorced and the mom married the guy she was cheating on her husband with. The mom had a few kids with her new husband then got bored with him, divorced him, and went back to her ex husband and remarried him. One of the mom's daughter's from her first marriage had a descent friendship while the mom was married but after her mom divorced him they didn't really talk much. But then when the daughter went off to college the ex-stepdad came to visit her and they were able to have a relationship. They ended up getting married and had like 20 kids.

Sorry I had no names in that explanation, I can't remember any of the Sims names.

I'll have to look for that cheat. I always like making my Sims life's a little bit complicated.

Yeah I tend to like very big families. Sometimes I don't listen to their wants to see if they want a kid or not and I just make them have one. Then with the Life juice stuff I keep the parents young so they can keep having kids. The only problem I end up having is that I always make the kids go off to college but forget about them after that so while their still in the college bin waiting to go to college, their family at home is constantly growing.

It's also fun with the general cheat I have because if I want to rush a family with kids, all I have to do is shift click on the girl who is pregnant and force twins.

I have one family where I had them have a kid without listening to their wants and since that I haven't made them have another kid. Apparently they aren't the large family type because their kid is now a teenager and they still haven't asked for another kid. Although the husband/dad in that relationship has two kids from his first marriage and another kid after he got divorced with an ex-girlfriend. The mom (Abby Venturi actually) of course has Derek, Edwin, and Marti from her first marriage.

I think one of the funniest things i've seen on my sims2 game was when we adopted a kid and the social worker dropped the baby off on the side of the road and left it.

lol I tend to find it funny when they drop off a kid who is say black or Mexican to an all white family. Awkward. lol. Or even more awkward is if I get a kid from one of my other families who got the kid taken away.

Casey and Derek just got married and she's pregnant. They are also living at home still. Yep not the glamorous life I was too impatient for them to have.

Meanwhile Casey's dad and Derek's mom got married...so they are step siblings once removed who are married. lol.

I haven't had a Dasey dream since.

Just had a Dasey dream last night. I was so excited about it I wrote it down so I could remember it for later.

This picture is the reason this dream ends up the way it does. I saw this picture about 15 or so minutes before going to sleep.



Minus Lizzie, Edwin, and Marti, update their looks to season 3 and presto that's where my dream eventually ends up.

I can't remember exactly how the dream starts but at one point I am helping someone look for a Lizwin picture on a bowling ball. First off I've never been a supporter of that ship, not that I'm anti, I just don't have an opinion on it. It was weird to have that included in the dream.

Then it turns into the group of people I'm with, we are walking through sound stages and come across the LWD one. All the sets were jumbled up together because the cast was shooting promo pictures for the show. Then my dream jumps to Mike and Ashley going into the E! Network building. They don't think LWD is getting enough play on Disney Channel so they are going to sneak into the programming department at E! and put an LWD marathon on. Then the dream flashes back to me on my couch at my house flipping on the E! channel and seeing Derek and Casey sitting on the couch, they are sitting like they are in the promo picture but Derek has his arm resting behind Casey on the couch. They appear to be watching tv and Derek goes "I'm bored" and Casey looks at him and he starts leaning into her, in the dream at this moment I know what is about to happen that I even have butterflies in my stomach and thinking to myself "Dasey video makers and Dasey fans are going to go nuts!". Then sure enough they kiss, it wasn't a long kiss but it wasn't a peck on the lips either. Then after that they turned back to the tv and kept watching. As I was watching this I couldn't decide if it was a real episode or if Mike and Ashley filmed a little video to air on E! showing Derek and Casey kissing because they thought Disney would never air it if/when it does happen. Then Derek, Casey, and Marti (who appears out of nowhere btw) are all eating little chocolate hearts, except for Marti eats the chocolate with the wrapper still on it and Casey tells Marti, "You have to take the wrapper off first!". Then the dream ends.

Wow..that's an interesting dream. I bet you were disappointed when you woke up huh? Probably thinking (while in the dream) "YES!!! A KISSS!!!" and then when you wake up " Dang it!" lol. I have this problem where as soon as I wake up the dream is fresh in my mind, but ten minutes later I forget.

Yeah I ended up writing down the dream about an hour after waking up when I was waiting in my car before school started. I knew I already forgot most of the Lizwin storyline and the promo picture area.

Yeah I defiantly was, I hate when that happens in dreams. I did that once with Phil of the Future. There needs to be a dream DVD Recorder.
