I have a VL1002 that the clean channel works for about 1 minute and then goes quiet. You can barely hear sound, but it sound like leakage, not true signal. Could it be the OC1 and 2 that have failed? The Channel selector seems fine. Any help would be wonderful.

Check all your preamp tubes closely - mine was just like yours except for the high gain channel. When I looked at the 12ax7s closely, I had one that had shorted out and turned the copper leads inside the tube blue. I have had several other 12ax7's burn up too, but finally have had some last for the past year. Bad tubes I guess.
