NEW DEADLINE FOR SHAFTESBURY PROJECT: MAY 16

Just thought I'd inform you guys that Steph and I have agreed to postpone the deadline to May 16th.

This should give everybody enough time to finish their projects.

Let us all take a big sigh of relief. Very Happy

Hey update on my posterboard. I had to go out and buy a new printer today. (my old one died) and now I have a lot of the pictures printed. I love my new printer!! It should either get there the 15th or 16th. If I have to pay extra for overnight I will. I hope it turns out the way i'm expecting! I'll let you all know when i'm finished!

Guys, I hate to do this, but...ugh...I am really not liking the way the essay is currently turning out (it's almost finished, but I'm not liking it), I don't think it will be in the package. I hate to say it because I'm sure quite a few of you were wanting it to be in there, but I just don't think its up to the task of being in this package - whether I continue to tweak it to make it not so ugh inducing or not.

I can still contribute to the package with the Dasey website list and that Dasey with the daisy background image can be included too. I'll e-mail the website list with the site descriptions to Steph (you do have a printer, right?) since there's not enough time to send it through snail mail and expect it to get there on time considering I don't have your address.

Seriously, this is what happens to me when something needs to be done within a set given time - I am either too busy with school and/or daily life or I have minimal use of Internet. It never fails. Oh well, I'm finding ways to make it work somehow.

I am going to try to mail the package tomorrow morning. Considering I don't have a lunch hour, it's hard to get to the Post Office when needed. It won't be there on the date, but it will start its journey.

So you might get it early next week.

I'm sort of like DaseyVenturi. Having deadlines is really hard on me right now. I literally have NO weekends to sit down and do this stuff. I can't even believe I escaped long enough to create the Hula Hoop of Love. (And even then, I had to do a last minute add-on this morning.)

Also, the Paul certificate was printed yesterday.

So yeah. I've done great this week in getting everything set up. It's just getting it in the mail. So I hope "sending it out on the 16th" counts as "on time."

Same with me...I'm sending it tomorrow as well. So many things with school have prevented me from mailing it but I will do my best to finish it and send it tomorrow after school. I hope it counts as well.

Here is the deal with my package:

-bought the posterboard, glue and foam letters early
-bought refill ink cartridge for my printer
-Monday discovered my ink cartridge wasn't printing and my printer was pretty much useless
-Monday (same day) went out and bought a new printer with new ink
-Tuesday went to scrapbooking store decided to make a scrapbook instead, but changed mind back to posterboard. spent over 30 dollars
-Tuesday (same day) watched a movie got a bad headache and went to bed
-Wed still had a bad headache then had to work late
-Thursday stayed up til 2:30 am working on posterboard (even though I had an early shift)
-Friday (today) planned on mailing it and shipping it out overnight. Cost would have been over 50 dollars so thought about snail mail then realized I never asked Steph for her address so I can't mail it!!

I plan to mail it tomorrow morning, it should get there by Thursday at the latest. I'm sorry for being so late. I really like how it turned out though and I hope all of you do too!!

I just hope Steph signs on tonight so she can give me her address in time. I have work in the afternoon and the UPS store is open til 430.
