Mike's Reputation While Dating Fefe

I don't know if anybody else has noticed this, but it concerns me. Of course, I tend to be a bit of a mother hen with my favorite actors.

But ever since Mike and her have started their courtship, I've noticed some negative words sent toward Mike in articles that mention him with Fefe.

Examples:

...and her boyfriend looked like a tall 12 year old...

(I still am a little curious about this "smoking" he saw. I know he was caught smoking at FamilyFest one time, but he wasn't promoting it. His private moment just wasn't private enough.)

That sucks but unfortunately that's 'show business'.

What I don't get though is that Fefe herself isn't that attractive. At least to me. She's got an amazing voice and a great bod but is kinda weird looking. So why they're making fun of her apparently 'womanly child looking' boyfriend makes no sense to me.

But then again I may just be bitter cause I was still holding out for Mike falling in love with me. Laughing

^ See, I tend to think some of the Fefe hate is just rubbing off on Mike. I think Fefe herself can actually be quite pretty at times. She just overloads on the makeup during some of her outings.

Aw, poor Mike.

I personally have never heard of Fefe before this, so I have no idea about her talent with singing, and thus I have nothing to contribute.

They're sorta cute though, not as much as Mashley, but eh, at least they won't break up and feel awkward in the LWD movie.

Fefe has taken many a hit from the Canadian media. We just don't seem to like her all that much. And I definitely think that some of that is being transfered on Mike. Plus he doesn't really have that much of an image built up where most of the press likes him. But we will defend him!

I was on his myspace profile, and Fefe was h is #1 and Ashley was like, his #3 or #4. I know this is stupid, but I actually feel crushed. Like Dasey/Mashley was supposed to renew my optimism in love/relationships. God I am a moron sometimes. Seriously.

I, however, refuse to comment on Fefe. Because my dislike for her is simply fueled by the non-Mashley happenings, and really, the girl doesn't deserve it.

Well, when I heard of Mike and FeFe, I immediately looked her up (sue me, I wanted to know who the guy would date instead of Ashley), and realized that I had heard of her before but never followed up on it. I saw the video for "Don't Go (Girls & Boys)" a few years back on The-N, and a friend of mine used a picture of her (the most popular one, with the white shirt and blue background) as a physical manifestation of a character of hers in a fanfic.

But then I listened to her music. And things were never the same.

The girl is absolutely amazing. Don't let anyone tell you differently. She is THE most versatile artist on the PLANET, and her voice and lyrics are simply superb. She can go from ultra-soft acoustic ("Rainbow") to radio-ready rock ("Rock It Till You Drop It") to even a bit of tough sound (I don't know the technical category) ("Don't Let It Go To Your Head") and not miss a note. So because of her music, I fully approve of FeFe.

However, due to her Sunday Love album and "Unforgiven", she sounds like she needs a bit more of a tough guy than Mike, and that's why I don't think they're really meant to be.

ok, I feel the need to be completely truthful.....

Mashley, of course I wanted it to happen. Chemistry is Chemistry, and who doesnt love a life imitating art moment? Nough said.

Mike being womanly or young looking..... while I admit, his fashion is very quirky off the LWD set, I think it makes me like him more. He's just so fabulous, and not in a gay way. I dont think he's rediculously young looking at all.

Fefe, i'm sorry to say, but I've only EVER liked one song of hers. To me(and like I mentioned, jsut my humble honest opinion) i just dont think the girl has all that much talent, and thats why she hasnt done better, at the time she came out she was like a half assed Avril Lavigne. And she is a bit strange looking, NOT UGLY IN ANY WAY(IMHO) just very different. Her look reminds me of Rihanna and yet Fefe had it first.

My theory on this is they probably have quite a bit in common, and if they are happy, I'm happy.

Although, yes, of course we all want him for ourselves, and failing that a Mashley thing. But.....Fefe isnt the worst person ever.

And last but not least, I too was crushed about the myspace issue. Sad

I'm curious if they're still even dating. Mike hasn't attended the past few events with her, and she "supposedly" said she was single at the Summer Moonlight 2008 event.

If it's true, then my prediction about their relationship was right. They were just a fling. I never really saw them ... making it in the long run.
