Reasons why I absolutely love this picture:

1. They're holding hands. And they're using a sandwich as an excuse. Even when alone, they don't want to admit to themselves that they are totally in love with each other. How adorable. (It even looks like Derek is caressing Casey's palm with his pinky finger. )
2. Derek's expression is like "Wow, - Casey - is - hott."

They so <3 eachother.

I love that scene and the picture captures the moment perfectly.

He could have just grabbed the sandwich out of her hand without even touching her, but instead he lingered for a moment.

Although, I was a bit surprised Derek was willing to throw food out, but it was cucumber sandwiches. I would have thrown it out too.
