Just as every other member here, I would hope at least, I am a lover of Dasey. Within the past month I have become obsessed, although I will admit that from the beginning I always did love them. I'm a hopeless romantic that will find love in anything and accept you for who you are.

Dasey is what brings us together, no matter our age, gender, race, etc etc all that fancy stuff. Dasey has replaced my need for Harry/Draco fanfiction and I read it constantly, I thank all the powers of the world for my phone having internet because I read fanfiction on the go. Reading fanfiction, seeing images, and reading about Derek and Casey/ Mike and Ashley makes me smile and wish I could look and read at and about them all the time. They make me happy when skies are grey, and are my new OTP.

I know this is a tad sad, seeing as I'm so obsessed, but I figure that if anyone would understand it would be my fellow Dasey lovers.

Nowww, onto me, seeing as I'm supposed to introduce myself alone with my love.

Okay, so.

I'm Maryssa and I currently reside in Boca Raton, Florida. I'm fifteen, as of December 27, and a sophomore in high school. I love reading fanfiction, daily actually, talking to my friends, spending Friday nights at home, and Tivo-ing Life With Derek. I love living through the love lives of fictional characters and wanting to cry over hopelessly romantic scenes. I'm currently trying to catch up with Mike and Ashley podcasts and trying to catch the cutest moments ever. Soon, I hope, I plan on making Mike and Ashley/ Dasey graphics.

I aspire to go to Naropa University, in Colorado, and spend each year with my friends. I meet people online constantly. I'm not going to lie and say I'm an amazing person, but I will say that I try :]

I'm also not going to stop saying how much I adore fanfiction aha. Because, honestly, I love it. I spend hours upon hours searching for completed/perfect fanfiction and reading it until I'm done. I'm, literally, obsessed with it, and I don't think I can help it.

I believe in peace and love and happiness and all that jazz. I believe in myself and I want to be an amazing person.

You should...definitely get to know me. I'm pretty flyyy if I do say so myself ;]

Oh dear lord, I have an entire folder full of favorites of Dasey fanfiction. Some aren't finished, so I refuse to read them.

But...my favorites are:

Twice in a Lifetime - for obvious reasons ;]
From the Beginning to the End - it made me so happy.
How to Fall Head Over Heels - the utter cute-ness of it made me want to squeal.
Figuring Out Family - i'm pretty sure that everyone here has read it, but just in case someone comes here and sees it and hasn't read it....;]

and I'm currently trying to get my phone to work so I can open a new fanfiction..I read on the go ;]

Time Changes Everything - the summary seems amazing, so I'm just going to try and start it. see how it goes.

I don't know if I've mentioned this but, I have problems with reading fanfiction that doesn't have good grammar. Like when they say "I love you," Derek said and people put a period instead of a comma? I stop reading =X

It severely limites my choices aha.

GASP! We must compare stories. Haha. And talk about our obsessive reading disorder. Haha.

And I get what you mean. I don't refuse to read them though. It just kind of irks me despite me doing that when I first started writing. But a person opened my eyes and I do it right now. YAY!

I totally understand how you feel. It's like, if you can't be bothered to have correct grammar, you probably can't be bothered to write a good story either. The LWD section is really great at this aspect of FFN though, I've seen so much other categories littered with stories that is just horrible at grammar, and sometimes they don't even bother trying to spell and use chat speak instead, which usually ruins what could've been a great story.

Wow, lucky! I usually just read from my computer. I wish I could do that with my phone....

I love all the stories you suggested, especially From the Beginning To The End, and Time Changes Everything (You must start reading this one ASAP!)

To list all the stories I love would probably take most of the board space, so I have a list of authors I love instead. I posted somewhere in the forum... I'll post it when I find it...

I hate those stories! Who have bad spelling to the point where it's ridiculous. Because every second I think, "They spelled that word wrong? How could they spell THAT wrong?!" Haha. Yeah, most LWD fanfics are gramatically correct.

I'll have to read those. And I think another good one I've read is Clueless.

I thank the powers of the world for breaking my phone, aha. I'm in love with it because I just sit there during class sometimes reading, it's asdlfkj.

I'm going to start the fanfic tomorrow, and hopefully finish it tomorrow night.

I hate when people get 'to' and 'too' mixed up and 'lose' and 'loose'. Like, I don't really mind too much, I just fix it in my mind aha.

Oh and first person stories. I'll read them, because if they're written well then it's all worth it, but I lean towards third person because it's easier to read (I do roleplaying online so writing in third person comes naturally and it's easier aha).

Haha. I wish I could sit in class and read fanfics. Although, if it's a slow day I'll take out my book and read it while pretending to look interested. Once I got caught twice in the same class. Luckily my Biology teacher didn't get too mad because we were only watching a movie but she still told me to put it away. I was heartbroken. Haha.

If there aren't too many of those mistakes it's not a huge deal but if its all the time it can bother me. My possibly-and-probably-ex-best-friend always gets annoyed because I'm constantly correcting her spelling. I'm just kind of a grammar freak. Haha.

And 3rd person can be easier. I just like writing in first person because I find it easier to portray the main character's emotions. I don't know. I write in both forms but I tend to lean on the 1st person side. Although, I love both...and they both have their pros and cons.
