Thought this might of be of interest to you guys. Even though it doesn't mention the USA, LWD is being renewed on Disney in other countries.

Shaftesbury Bags Renewals, Sales for Life with Derek
TORONTO, April 2: Shaftesbury Sales Company has closed a number of renewals and new sales for the live-action kids’ comedy Life with Derek.
The fourth season has been renewed by Boomerang in U.K.; France 2; Daro Film Distribution in Central and Eastern Europe; Selectavision in Spain; Disney Channel in Germany, Italy and Latin America; and Noga in Israel. The third season was renewed by France 2 and VRAK.TV for French-speaking Canada. New sales on the series include MediaCorp TV12 Kids Central in Singapore for the first two seasons.
Life with Derek has been translated into more than 14 languages and airs in more than 100 countries worldwide. The half-hour comedy features a modern blended family that is forced together, while two teenagers, Casey and Derek, are each determined to be the one in charge.
“Life with Derek has steadily grown into a global phenomenon that kids and parents enjoy,” said Shane Kinnear, the VP of marketing and sales for Shaftesbury Films. “Our remarkable cast unfailingly delivers the antics and warmth that continues to expand our prestigious family of broadcasters and keep them coming back for more.”

Hm. This actually kind of worries me, given that they haven't even bothered to air about 7 episodes of this season yet.

Well by this time last year, Disney was preparing the start of Season 3. Since Disney is taking their sweet time this year ... Season 4 may not start in the USA for a while. (If at all ... although, I have a little hope seeing as Season 4 will be airing in other Disney Channel regions.)

| Oh I meant season 3 just ended in Canada so it might not air in Canada for a while, but yeah, hopefully season 4 airs in other countries and we can get clips and spoilers. |

I'm pretty sure that Family is gonna air the new season of LWD in September. That's pretty much standard procedure when coming out with new seasons.
But this is pretty good news, if alot of stations will be paying to air then a LWD movie is pretty much a given.

A little OT but I love when they say things like this:

Global phenomenon? They do know that most of the global phenomenon is a Dasey phenomenon right??
