I originally thought an OTP was your one favourite pairing across all fandoms, which was horrible for me since I have so many ships and I was wondering how I'd ever choose an OTP!
But I think I'd have to agree with you, bsloths - I tend to think of an OTP as being based on fandom. I may ship two pairings on a show, but usually I ship one pairing a lot more fervently than the other. If that makes any sense. |

Yeah, I think I agree with you there. If it came to Avatar, the example I was using before, out of zutara and taang, I'd choose taang. I definitely love Toph and Aang as a pairing better.
And if that's the case, that OTP means the pairing you love most in each fandom, it won't be too hard for me, since I only have a few fandoms where I love two (or more) pairings. |

ROFLMAO Marol!? Ok I guess it's not that funny but that was something that I considered one of my biggest secrets cause I was afraid people would think I think incest is okay and think something was wrong with me. Since the internet though people are so open to discussing things like this. Hmm that gives me an idea. I have no idea what the movie was called or where I even found that out but I think Kirk Cameron said it in an interview. I'll look for it again. *shrug*
Yes! HA! sometimes I miss that fandom...
Oh and thanks for clearing up the whole OTP thing you guys. I heard it once before but then it just kept showing up so finally I was like okay what the heck does that mean? Oh yeah my OTP is DEFINITELY Dasey.

| Obviously we all have different definitions of OTPs. Originally and mostly for me it's my parings that must not be messed with. Like DerekCasey, HarryHermione, SheppardWeir, WillElizabeth, SinbadMaeve, etc. These are parings that I never ever ever want to see with anyone else. But then I decided I do have parings that I have a preference for but could be switched up concievably. Like TeylaRonon. Prefer them but Teyla could go with Carson or Ford. Ginnie could got with Neville or Draco (though I prefer Draco). Stuff like that. However my OTP's of the first variety? Yeah, when those get messed with I get mad. ;) Thus the reason I stopped watching the new Stargate:Atlantis stuff. It ends at Season 3 for me. |

Makes sense, A.L. I have plenty you can't mess with either. Dasey is of course number 1!
Not a Stargate: Atlantis fan but I could definitely see myself pretending certain seasons of a show don't exist so I have my happy ending!
