I almost forgot to say I'm also a huge Ron/Hermione Shipper (Harry Potter). And they remind me of Dasey. Both couples have a love/hate relationship. Both Casey and Hermione love reading and studying.
I was watching French Kiss with my mom, and all I could think for almost the entire movie was 'Oh my GOD! This is SO Dasey!'

1st half of Season 1 Logan & Veronica (from Veronica Mars) remind me of Dasey. They definitely had a great bicker and banter dynamic. And in retrospect the next season Logan actually refers to their past bickering as foreplay, lol.
I especially can see Casey saying something like this if she ever kissed Derek:
Veronica (S1): I just made out with dead best friends' ex-boyfriend...who, incidentally, I *hate*
..well minus the dead best friend part. Casey's would probably go like this:
Casey: I just made out with moderately annoying step sibling ...who, incidentally, I hate.
Clueless is a great example... I mean think about it, Cher "hates" her step-brother at the beginning in the movie...but by the end they're going out...there was another movie too, but I forgot the name of it...there was a mention of it from a YT video...about this Hockey player and a figure skater who hate each other and have to learn to get along to do this competiton and end up falling in love...
Well, those are the only two I can think of at the moment, but I'm sure they're loads more... _________________
