So, I was just over at TWOP (Television Without Pity) because I was wondering if they had a Life With Derek thread, and whether or not people saw "Dasey" in the show.
Well I found the thread and surely enough...the majority of the posters at TWOP all kept talking about the blatant sexual chemistry between Derek & Casey. And some other people chimed in with "oh wow, I thought that was just me who saw the chemistry".

I don't know I just found it interesting. Especially since I know that a lot of t.v. show creators/producers/networks actually read TWOP often. Which made me think...
Do you think that the creators/writers of LWD are aware of the obvious Derek/Casey UST? I don't see how they couldn't be. But then again, if they were, wouldn't they have told Michael and Ashley to tone it down by now?
What do you all think?

Sometimes I wonder that too. In some scenes, it seems like they have less UST than in season 1, but in others (the bet in Driving Lessons,...) the chemistry is reallyobvious.
Maybe the producers told them something, I don't know.

I think that the writers, producers, and directors are well aware of the Dasey fan base. And they tease us.

^YES! I agree with that. I think I was reading TV.com's Suite Life fourm when I was bored and I remember coming across a topic about how although the shows age rang was for younger kids, the writers knew there were some older audience memembers and slipped in stuff that would seem harmless to the younger kids, but the older kids would get(find funny in Suite life's case) Sometimes I feel like they did that in LWD's case too. Then again, a lot of it could still just be Mike and Ash...
