Hello there!

My name is Leanna and I'm a 19 yr. old brand-new Dasey shipper ;D

The first time I heard of Dasey (and Life With Derek) was by accident since I rarely ever watch Disney channel. I was over at Livejournal on this community called the "Doomed Ship Club" since many of my ships are *doomed* [i.e. "Harry/Hermione"(HP), "Jacob/Bella"(Twilight), etc.] and I was just going down the list and when my younger 12 yr. sister screamed out in disgust. When I asked her what was wrong, she mentioned that Derek/Casey was on the list and yelled "but they're BROTHER AND SISTER!!" Literally the next day, as if fate had stepped in, I stumbled across a Dasey music video and actually really enjoyed it -- partly for the vid and partly for the pleasure of bugging my sister about this couple. So, as sort of a running joke to tease my sister with, I kept watching more and more Dasey music videos. Soon my joke started to turn into reality, and I just had to find out more about them. So I did some research and found out that they were actually STEP siblings who had just met at 15.

Anyways, I basically became a huge shipper (based on chemistry *alone*) before I had even scene one LWD episode. Once I finally got around to watching the Pilot ep, it's safe to say that I had high expectations and didn't want to be disappointed. At first, I was a bit disappointed and didn't know if I saw subtext...but then I saw THE PARTY and the Unresolved Sexual Tension was just too obvious and frequent to ignore. And thus, my obsession with this couple began [/end long story]

I'm a serious music vidder, been doing it for years, and so I'm also happy when I get to work with different and new source material. So you can probably expect more Dasey vids from me.

Yes another Jacob/Bella fan! AWESOME! That's funny because I was reading the Dasey Manifesto and saw Jacob/Bella on there and found the doomed ship club, I considered joinging but didn't, mostly lurked. I know J/B is pretty much doomed but I still have hope for Dasey!!
