I didn't mean quotes from other characters, I meant something like insights into other people's thoughts, and not just things that they say. It's really hard to do it with plain dialogue or character thought since most fics are written in the third person and don't have a huge amount of dialogue. So I guess the Max example was a bad one, I meant sentences such as this one from the interview:

She considered pushing him off, and for a split second even tensed, readying to make the move. But then his grip tightened and his face darkened, as if anticipating what she was thinking of doing. She froze, her breath caught. He has complete control over me, she realized, panic washing over her. “Derek, I can’t – it’s too much…” she stuttered, trying to find words.
“Too much what?” he demanded, low and intense. “Too much to handle? Is this getting too real for you, Case?”

Yeah, things like that. But if I can't do that, then I can cut out all the action and put it in plain dialogue, but you know, one measly sentence (“Derek, I can’t – it’s too much…” “Too much what?”Too much to handle? Is this getting too real for you, Case?”) doesn't really cover the whole thing, so it limits my choices by A LOT.
So I'm not gonna limit it all to dialogue, but if someone thinks I should, tell me, and I can edit it.

I can't find sentences that might work on their own. It is usually always a paragraph or more. Since it's a written piece of work, and not an actual episode, it's so hard to seperate them and yet let them still make sense. So I hope nobody minds that none I have listed are actually pure dialogue, or just one sentence.
Is there anyone that can help me, you know, split up the work? There are so much, yet so little to choose from, and I am getting frustrated with the selection because I have NO idea how to seperate, what is appropriate, what isn't etc. Plus, I want a second opinon on the, well, not really quotes, more like, selections, that I've chosen.

I am strongly considering changing my project. For the diary to work, I need a weekend alone (for me to completely focus), and I can't seem to do so. I'm either going to baseball tournaments, traveling to see my sick grandmother, or holding down the fort at home while my mom is away.
If I do, I'm thinking about doing the "Reasons Why We Love Dasey." It's easy to do, and I can create a makeshift laminate for the reasons.
If anybody else thinks they can do the diary justice, please speak up. _________________
Wow, I must to say that this was an awesome idea! See, that's what I love about the Dasey fandom, they're so involved with it all. They don't just sit back and watch the show like your typical LWD viewer. Dasey shippers know whats up, lol. You guys have some awesome ideas. I wish I could help! Sorry if this has been asked, but will there be any way to see the finished product before it gets sent off? I want to see the adorableness of it all haha
My sister had this idea that someone could get a box of chocolates (you know the kind that you get on valentines day thats shaped like a heart) and on the inside, use the chcolates to spell out 'Dasey'. You would need small chocolate, and possibly a second box of chocolates to have enough to spell it, but I think that would look really cute!
