Okay, this comes from real life, my friend's sister is three years younger then me and I was babysitting her and we were watching LWD and she said that Derek and Casey only pretend to like each other to stick it to Nora and George because they're still bitter over the remarriage thing. That was really weird.
I didn't even dignify that with a response.
What do you think?

Weird, I've never heard of that before.
My guess is she was saying that to get back at George and Nora, Casey and Derek are going to hook up to somehow show that they should have never got married...

that would make a good fic that they pretended to hook up to piss of the parents then fell in love. It wouldn't really make sense in this timeline but if it was right after they got married it would.

Honestly, I'm kind of surprised an 11 year old came up with that, LOL. It's pretty (what's the word?) elaborate? Anyway, I actually find this comment interesting. It's better than most anti's arugments against the couple.

Okay, if Derek and Casey were trying to piss George and Nora off by "pretending to like each other", why would they argue all the time? I mean, we read between the banter, but George and Nora seem pretty clueless. Just doesn't add up. |

Lol, that's basically what I was wondering. I didn't get what she meant by "pretending to like each other" when in fact they're pretending to dislike each other most of the time. |
