Ok. So I'm on a YT trail. A YT trail is where you start off watching one video and BAM! One vid leads to another and another and suddenly you don't understand where it all started. Haha.
I went to see a contest video so I could find out the due date...it wasn't loading so I watched one of the entries. It was a Jalex video. So then I see this um WOWP theme song thing and I click on it. Its some random person lip singing to it. I roll my eyes and then I see the most ridiculous thing ever.
Its a vid of her and her friend lip singing to My Humps. Now here is the sad part. She is 11 years old! I can't believe 11 year olds listen to this kind of stuff. Its about sex and stuff. *shakes head* And second of all, I read in the comments how she had a boyfriend or something...idk. My mouth literally dropped and it is just so sad.
What has this world come to? 11 year olds listening to songs about sex and DATING! Dating at 11 years old?! *wants to give these 6th graders a piece of my mind* Dude, its even weird for 14 year olds to date. Hell, even kids my age...which is 15...To me this is all so sad...no wonder the age people have sex is younger and younger. It is so sick and oh my gosh. I don't even get it. Any thoughts?

I mean, what are the 11 year olds trying to achieve? You can't possibly find true love when you're so young. You're just gonna get your poor little heart broken, and the other thing about the song is just plain horrible.
I totally agree with you, it's disgusting! And yesterday I heard that one of my friends, who is 15, like me, had sex with a 13 year old girld! THIRTEEN YEARS OLD! And I was like WTF?!
I mean, some girls don't even have their periods at 13! And they say it like it's totally normal, having sex at 13. This world is SO wrong right now. Really sad... _________________ Dasey love ♥

I agree. That's just... wrong. I mean, 11 is just too young to be dating. It's alright for crushes and stuff, but to be actually DATING? No. Just no.
I think society is pressuring kids too early. I remember being in grade 7 and 8 and having some of my classmates already dating, and to me, I just thought it was far too young. Even when I got into high school and got my first boyfriend (in grade 9), I thought I was too young... and it only lasted 2 months because I didn't think I was ready. Now, I'm 17, and I can say that I'm old enough and ready to actually date, but I'm not just going to throw myself out into the dating world just for the sake of dating. I'm going to wait, and I'm certainly not going to latch on to the first guy that takes an interest in me...
Often times, girls - even my own friends - start dating a guy, and then they say how much they're "in love" and whatnot, when in reality... it's just infatuation. It's absolutely ridiculous. My sister started dating when she was still in elementary school (it's sad, but she's younger than me and she's had more boyfriends in her 15 years than I've had in 17. I've only had ONE and I haven't even been kissed yet!) and the second she gets a new boyfriend, she instantly thinks she's in love and then her entire world revolves around that guy.
It's absolutely ridiculous.

I clicked disagree because it depends on the situation honestly. I mean if they are going out and doing stuff then yeah, I agree. But if they're dating like, "Oh, he's my boyfriend." but don't actually go out on dates and stuff then no big deal for me.
Plus, really it's all about the media these days. Sex sells and it is aimed at younger and younger audiences.
