When Dasey happens... how will they react?

I wasn't entirely sure where to post this, but I decided that since it's mostly about George and Nora as opposed to any of the other characters, I went with this section.

Anyways, as the title entails... when Dasey happens (which it, of course, will), how do you think George and Nora will react?

Will they be angry? Disappointed? Shocked? Relieved it finally happened? Mad because they lost their bet to Edwin, Lizzie and Marti?

Will they separate them? Disown them?

Perhaps a mixture of all of these?

I'm talking reactions as soon as either George and Nora walk in on Casey kissing/making out/etc., or Casey and Derek confront them to tell them their "secret" themselves. Or something along these lines.

Personally, I think they'll be shocked at first and probably send Derek and Casey to their respective rooms before retreating to their own bedroom to talk about it, and during their talk, they'll realize they probably should've seen it coming. Then, afterwards, George will go talk to Derek alone and Nora will talk to Casey and well... who knows?

So, what do you guys think? Razz

I think Nora will be all silent and George will have a full blown freak attack. I think they'll be more that they didn't tell them than the fact that they're steps. I just can't see them getting mad at that little fact.

Nora will probably calm George down, explain to him that everything will be okay and that need to have an interesting variation of 'the talk' with Casey and Derek.

But who are we kidding? This is a family show so that will never happen unless I/Dasey Shipper somehow gets the rights to the show.

So in all honesty, no clue.

I personally think that this is what's going to happen...
Derek and Casey want to go out...but Casey is freaking out about what their parents are going to say. So Derek tells her that they can keep it a secret. She relentlessly agrees, but then realizes that she can't take it anymore and tells George and Nora (at dinner...idk) ANYWAYS George and Nora will probably both laugh and think that it's a joke or some stupid bet.
Yeah.

I like the "it's a joke" idea.

"You two? Together?! Very funny, guys. Ahahhahaa. What's really going on?"

But then they realize it's for real, and I have to say, I think they'd freak out at first. And they'd definitely freak out if they walked in on them kissing. They don't seem to care if it's just Derek *coughSandracough* but Derek AND Casey kissing...each other? Yeah, I'd expect a George blowup. And possibly Nora too. But in the end they'd be okay with it, because there has to be a happy ending!

Hmmm..interesting topic. Glad I came across it. I kinda mainly came into this section for 2 reasons. 1. Jenny is the new moderator here. 2. I was strangely curious to see what was in the George and Nora section. lol.

Anyways, now that I'm here why not discuss my thoughts? On we shall.

1. I have a feeling that George will not believe it and once he does he'll freak out. Nora is more rationalized it seems. There have been SOOOO many things for her to blow up about but she has kept her cool mostly throughout the whole three seasons. Yes, they both will be SHOCKED (which will be hilarious to see) but I have a feeling Nora will be more accepting than George. And then Nora will convince him everything is ok. lol.

And writing this brings up another thought....

2. George is a lawyer right? I don't know what kind of lawyer....if he has a specific field of work...*shrugs* But wouldn't he know its ok for them to be together? He may not like it...but he should know better than anyone that it is not incest and stuff. So I don't expect those reactions from them...I freaking hope. lol.

3. George will make a joke about it. Before or after he finds out its real...maybe both times. George is just a goofball. Take Adios Derek for example. He missed the fact that he ruined Casey's poem because he found "Stinky Feet" quite hilarious. (I did too....laughed so freaking hard)

Anyways, this is longer than I thought...lol. And I believe I still have more to say. ROFL. Sorry guys.

I don't think they will do anything too drastically like disown them or anything....It IS a show...family show at that so I doubt they'd be THAT dramatic. I'm not quite sure what they'll do...sigh. Nora and George are just as or almost as unpredictable as Marti...you just never know.

Either way, I HOPE HOPE HOPE IT HAPPENS! Whether if its in season 4 or the movie. *prays to god*

yeah i also love the 'your joking' concept...but anyway they do find out will be interesting to see, i know in a lot of FanFics a popular storyline is when George and Nora find out they try to keep them apart but I hope that it wont actually turn out that way durnig the show or in the movie, its just added drama that is not really necessary
