YAYYYY what a wonderful episode!
We had some great Dasey huh? Let's see, I think I really really love when Derek says 'you actually care what I think?'
And the fact that he keeps calling her Cinderella.
Annnnd when they're standing outside ready to go in how insanely close he moved to her, then he takes her by the hand and moves her inside.
Just excellent!

I also love how Emily, Sally, and Sheldon made Derek leave to go to Casey's rescue. (Maybe they're tired of him being in denial too!) They knew he was the only one who could save her from her prom blues!

And that is the way things should be! Very Happy

He really made her night. He took her the dress, took her to prom...the night wouldn't have been magical for Casey had he not been there!

I know! And he totally ripped her dress on purpose so she wouldnt have to go with Max. haha. okay not really but that's what I was thinking. What WAS up with Max's tux? No taste seriously.. knowing Casey she wouldn't want a guy without taste. Derek, however, as usual, looked awesome. I was like a little closer.. when they were standing outside the prom. He seriously looked like he was going to grab her and kiss her!

I know! For a second it was almost as if he wanted to jump her right outside the entrance....of course that could just be what I wanted him to do, but you know. Wink

There are moments in almost all the episodes where they get alittle too close for it to called Brother/Sister. Like in that episode (I can't remember which one but it's Season 1) where they leaning on either side of a doorway. Swear to god, I though they were gonna make out or something.

I absolutely loved the Sheldon and Casey comparing notes scene that was too funny!

I was shocked to see Max actually at her house talking to her mom. But of course he's an idiot to actually show up at the house wearing that baby blue tux. I do have to say Casey was going overboard with the whole "fairytale perfect" prom and most guys don't go date shopping with the girls but that's how she is and he should know better!

Wouldn't Nora know what dress she made for the doll? I mean come on the color of the fabrics were different!

About the Dasey of this eppy:
"I'm here to take you to the prom" had to be one of my favorite quotes in Dasey history! Who loved when he called her "Cindy" and "Cinderella" obviously contradicting him agreeing with her statement of the "ugly stepsister" so he thinks she's beautiful yay!!! He looked so uncomfortable when she said "It's THE dress" and called her his fairy godmother. He was like oh crap I have to act like I dont care but he SO knew it was the one she wanted! Then he was all flirty with "coach man maybe" and he winked at her!!

He waited for her in the cab the entire time she was getting ready! Pfft her "prince charming" should have been the one to wait but NOO he was fixing his mistake. Wasting all that money on a lame tux and couldn't afford a limo but then just taking a free one from the theater department so he wasted his money anyway. such an idiot. Anyway I thought it was sweet he waited for her!

Derek and Casey looked soo good together! They really did look like they were gonna kiss standing outside the prom. So it wasn't just me he DID grab her hand when they were walking inside "Hurry up Cinderella before the clock strikes twelve"

I kinda like Sally she sees the Dasey potential and she obviously likes him as a friend, she just felt bad that her boyfriend didn't want to take her to prom. Though she kinda is leading Derek on because he clearly likes her, but I like how she stands up for Casey in this episode.

Yeah to tell you the truth...Sally earned some cool points in my eyes in this episode...she stood up for Casey, and totally backed up Emily (who I swear knows about Dasey) when she decided to send him to go get her.

I didn't see the wink! But I'm totally going to go back and watch it so I can!

Also - I absolutely love when Derek made fun of Max. He was laughing at him standing there in that ridiculous tux. I was sitting on the edge of my seat like 'WHOOO! YEAH! YOU GET HIM DEREK!!!!'

I know this was such a great episode! We all seemed so upset when we read the reviews and I don't know why everyone said there was hardly any Dasey and seemed to be so disappointed. Whatever, it was totally Dasey filled! It actually made me feel a little better and fulfilled my Dasey needs ...at least for now. ;)

That was actually a pretty Dasey episode. I mean, we had higher expectations and stuff but it was really good.

However, I did find it odd how Max and Derek seemed buddy-buddy in the beginning. It was weird considering Bully Brothers and all. But whatever.

Sally definately redeemed herself in this episode. She probably sees the Dasey too.

Yeah..Derek is distracted with Casey often...so it wouldn't surprise me if he's unknowingly given it away to Sally that there is an interest in his life, who happens to be a girl named Casey.

I'm bumping. This makes 2 times tonight... Shocked

So...I just watched this episode again it makes me so happy everytime I see it!! Just everything about it! I finally caught the wink, was so cute and a little hard to catch if you're not paying close attention!

I think one of the best parts in the episode is when Derek points at Max and just laughs slightly about his appearance. I'm going to actually post a topic in 'Dasey Discussion' here in a moment that involves Derek's opinion of Max. But like I said - one of my favorite parts in the episode. And of course, everytime he says 'I've come to take you to prom' I'm just like.....*melts in a pool of Daseyness*. I mean, my.God. Very Happy
