I ADORE Twilight, but I am not a Bella/Edward shipper, or really any shippings in it, I enjoy it for what it is: A good book. And I really don't care about who ends up with who.
I think the reason I am not into Bella and Edward or Bella and Jacob is because the only shippings I can really get into are Love/Hate, like Dramione (FTW), Dasey, and Quogan(before they, you know, kissed), otherwise I like my best friend ships and random character ships. But Jacob and Bella really annoys me, I don't know why, I just can't get into twilight shipping. I seem to regard Twilight as more of a... Adventure and mystery than romance.
But I have this really random ship from Twilight...Anyone else besides me just LOVES Alice/Jacob? I mean, they got the whole love/hate thing down pat, plus I think they would look so cute together, and it would bring so much drama because of their species, I luv it .
So, does anyone else see that? Or is it just me?

Plus, I understand what you mean about getting over the dasey, I too have been in a dasey rut because of the lack of new episodes. I remember when I first discovered the dasey luv I threw my old fandom out the window, now I hope it won't be the case . Because I love this fandom so much .

It's okay. Every single one of my close friends is a Jasper/Bella fan. It's actually kind of scary. They hate all the vampires and my best friend is practically in love with the entire werewolf pack.

I know what you mean, that's why I'm not huge on any of my ships for Twilight, and it could never take over, say, my love for Dasey. I mostly let the pairings wash over me, which is why I'm really more or less neutral on Bella/Edward and can read it without annoyance.
I don't like Bella, I don't like Jacob, and I wasn't the hugest fan of Edward in Eclipse. I ADORED jealous!Edward, it was my favorite part of the book, but otherwise he was just kind of cheesy... But I don't know if it's because I'm in the height of my teenage years, but I have to have a ship for everything I read/watch/whatever. It's only pure comedies that I don't usually get ships for.

I was a fan of half of the Twilight trailer, I have to say. The "How old are you?" scene would have been fantastic if they hadn't had that glimpse of him hunting. (It still never fails to crack me up, lol.) And the ending scene where she says she isn't scared of him was slightly better than average.
Oh, and just to clarify: he doesn't fly or really do anything similar to flying. He's really just running on the branches. I know it's still not in the book, but it's better than flying.
I also have a feeling that I'm going to really like Bella and Edward in the movie considering Rob and Kristen's chemistry. But I already know I'm NOT going to ship the movie Jasper and Bella because I do not like who they casted for Jasper at all. That's my only problem with the movie. (Kellan as Emmett is absolute and utter genius, though. Emmett's always been my favorite character.) _________________
yeah, no one at school likes twilight at ALL...they're like, it's so STUPID. It really hurt... oh well. But I haven't read Eclipse yet. Maybe the whole Bella/Edward thing will go away. I totally agree with Alexandra. I really, truly think I'm losing my Dasey love. Well, maybe that's too strong to say. I should say it's just not as strong as it used to be. I'm getting towards the middle of New Moon and Jacob and Bella have become too darn adorable. Honestly, I think the books are fine the way they are. It doesn't mean I can't have my impossible ships, but I have no problem with Edward/Bella or Jacob/Bella.
Of course, I haven't re-read Eclipse yet. Eclipse is kind of the reason I started to get all these other side ships. I really am not a fan of that book. _________________

ahah! yah! thanks super much! it will probably come back when season 4 comes out... I'm reading eclipse right now, and i laughed SO hard when she took off with Jacob at school while Alice and her were having a 'slumber party' lol...I laughed SOOO hard! But whenever she like takes off and does that, I swear that any minute they're gonna kiss, and Edward's gonna show up as they are, and get SUPER pissed! lol, but the whole 'taking off' thing made me laugh...hah! _________________
I'm completely hooked back on Twilight. I've spent the entire afternoon reading New Moon, but it's just so addictive.
Jacob used to annoy me, but reading it the second time around, I'm in love. I told my best friend that I loved Jacob now and she was like, "Yayyy! Edward's a loser!"
I cannot wait to re-read Eclipse again now. And now I'm really excited for the movie.
I've kind of lost all my ships, though. I kind of understand now about this not being a real shippy series.

Woah, I didn't know he was the Disney 411 guy. That picture has scarred me for life now. I'm never going to be able to watch Jasper when I see Twilight without singing the 'Disney 411' theme, lol.
The "How old are you?" thing does look bizarre. The fact that he's standing behind her and everything. It doesn't really make sense.
I'm also over the end when he pulls her out of the window, considering he actually does that in New Moon, except it's in her bedroom.
You know what else annoys me? The Twilight official poster. The Kristen part is gorgeous, but the fact that Rob's like, hovering over her is just bizarre. If he was right next to her, it would have been an awesome poster. But the way they photoshopped him in is just weird. _________________
The guy who did the cover art for the poster explained why they are positioned the way they are in this video...I didn't like how it looked before either until he explained it a little more.
woah the 411 guy? oh man now I can't get that stupid Disney song outta my head. The poster was pretty interesting, I dunno I guess I expected more with the theme of the first book and how intense it was focused on just them makes sense. Also watching that vid about the cover art gave me a different perspective. His overprotectiveness pretty much sums it up well. Actually I don't think you could simplify the context any more than that.
Now don't get me wrong I loved Edward/Bella in Twilight but I just started to get annoyed with the characters more in the other two books. I still love them and all but certain aspects about it really drove me crazy, I can't quite put my finger on it. And... well i'm afraid to give too much away but it has something to do with one of my favorite quotes from Twilight: when Bella compares Edward to drugs. Anybody find that quote? I can't find it! *looks frantically through Twilight* _________________
