As I'm sure many of you know, I recently got back into South Park and in doing so, I've been exposed and caught on to many pairings that I didn't quite see before, and believe me, there are a lot of those. I mean A LOT. They're completely bizarre and at times, weird, but they're there and they're pretty hard to ignore and not notice - especially when you've been a yaoi fangirl for as long as I have.
I'm a fan of most of the pairings, but I have to say my favorite (right now, anyways) would have to be Style, otherwise known as Stan/Kyle.
Now, I adore this pairing for a number of reasons, one of them being that... well, the fan art portraying them is too adorable for words, as are the fanfics, so I suppose it's safe to say that those things played a major role in why I was drawn to it. The second one is... they're best friends!
Apart from the "opposites attract" pairings, such as Dasey, Ralph/Jack (Lord of the Flies), Noah/Allie (The Notebook) and Ahmon/Qi Yue (Devil Beside You), I'm also a HUGE fan of the "best friends = best lovers" pairings.
I adore this pairing. I think it was the second slash pairing I got into, so I was still a bit of a noob at the time, but it's just so obvious in the show.
I'm like you - I usually go for the 'opposites attract' pairing, but with Stan and Kyle it's just like. . . *smiles ridiculously*

I absolutely love the Guitar Hero episode where Stan says something along the lines of "I need you." Which just made me think 'They love each other. They are in love. They are together. They will be together forever.' Haha.
I mean, Style is basically canon. I swear, there's nearly something in every episode pointing toward it in some way.

It's odd, considering that I go for the whole 'opposites attract' thing, it would have made much more sense to ship Cartman/Kyle. But, I don't know. I like it to an extent... but I would be scared for Kyle's safety if he were ever with Cartman, considering what a Neo-Nazi Cartman is. Also, I think I prefer sticking Cartman with Wendy, because in "Chef Goes Nanners", he seemed to like her a bit - especially towards the end... and I don't think he'd treat her as horribly as he'd obviously treat Kyle.
HOWEVER... some of the Kyle/Cartman fan art I've seen is... quite something.

That's so weird! Yet awesome! Yet weird! Hahaha, it's like we share the same brain!
Oh yeah. They totally would. Oh! There's this new fic that was posted not too long ago called "King Me", and Cartman and Wendy are working together to try to get Stan and Kyle together for prom or whatever - though, in true Cartman fashion, he's only doing it to humiliate Kyle because Kyle's a nominee for Prom Queen. Last I checked, it only had one chapter up so far, but it's so amusing.

I know! That was so adorable! And I feltso bad for him at the end... but I LOVED Stan's reaction to the kiss. He looked so horrified. It was hilarious! And then Bebe's reaction when Wendy told her she might like Cartman? Priceless.

I am definitely going to find that fic - I'm surprised I didn't see it before when I went on my weird binge of Cartman/Wendy fanfiction.
Have you seen the episode where the girls make a list of the cutest guys in school? It has nothing to do with anything, but I found it absolutely hilarious. My brother just kept saying "Why are you laughing? I don't get it." and I was just like "Eh. It's probably 'cause you're not a girl."

I don't think it's under Cartman/Wendy, but it's relatively new, so it might be on the first or second page still.

I have the entire 7th and 10th season, as well as the "Imaginationland" trilogy and the movie. Yes, I used up the majority of my birthday money going on a SP binge, haha.

So I finally got around to watching all of the episodes that strongly hinted Style.
Here's one that I don't hear mentioned too often, though, that I stumbled across:
Season 2 - Clubhouses.
It's not REALLY slashy, but Bebe writes a note to Kyle and it gets passed around to everyone until it reaches Stan, and then Mr. Garrison forces him to read it out loud to the rest of the class and it basically talks about Kyle's ass, haha.
