I don't know if its been discussed before, but in the episode it's our party, close to the end, Derek and Casey are standing against a wall together(which come to think of it, seems kinda common for them) but anyways, Derek looks over at "casey" and then the camera pans down and Marti grabs dereks hands, but for a small second it looked like derek was going to grab Casey's hand. Did anyone else notice this?

Oh yeah. My heart jumped into my brain the first time I saw that part of that episode. I was so disappointed when nothing Marti grabbed his hands.

Yeah! I was re-watching the episode and I noticed that too! I got so furious at poor little Marti when she appeared. I was like, "GAH! NOOOO!"

But anyways.....

Its one of those moments where a fan's dasey radar goes off. I think its funny how we fans have similar reactions and notice things like that. My heart also flipped when the camera zoomed down to their hands as if Derek was going to grab Casey's. Then BOOM! Marti grabs Derek BOOM! Max is at the door. Next thing I know I'm thinking to myself,We just totally got jipped out of a dasey moment!!

The cameramen love to tease us. They honestly do.

I think every Daseyer thought that Derek and Casey might have a dance when we saw that shot.

But of course the writers hate us, and it doesn't happen. Instead, we see a dopey dance shared between Max/Casey. Do they ever dance ... normally?

I could bring up "Make No Prom-ises" to make my point. Sheldon/Emily shared a wonderful dance in that episode. You felt like they were a couple. Max/Casey though .... nope. They do that weird ... old folks dance. Sorry, but I always feel like they're dancing in a retirement home when they dance.

It is pathetic. And they dance that way every time.

Derek/Kendra and Derek/Sally have more fun dancing than they do. Granted, it's more Derek's dancing since he likes to spin them around and whatnot, but you see a couple having fun.



Max/Kendra even had a better dance! The short shot they had of them in "Rumour Mill" showed a more romantic dance, which is just odd.

And yup, I literally thought Derek was going to take Casey's hands...but NOOOOO

Also, at about 1:59-2:00 of that clip, Derek's shoulder is touching her ^_^ yeah, not that big a deal, but it's just so cute when they touch.

So from 1:56-2:00 they keep getting slightly closer and closer. But just enough so you could only notice if you're a psycho Daseyer like us =P

I thought he was going to grab her hand too ! They were so cute, it's like they were waiting to dance together but Marti and Max ruined it. Indeed, the writers like to play tricks on us. It was the same thing in BB. I'm sure they were about to hug ! But Edwin came between them ! Argh...
