*races into the topic* Sorry I'm late!
My entire opinion on the epsiode summary is alot like all of yours - wtf writers wrote it? It'll be interesting to see this episode though. I have alot of Dasey faith for this season (which is less than a day away from starting now! Yay!)
Sally? Is not going to last long it seems. If it's one thing Derek doesn't like - it's being pestered and hounded and the first 2 summaries of the season have to do with Sally asking Derek to do something that he doesn't want to do. I say we're already being given signs that Sally's gotta go, and Derek? He's not going to view her as 'perfect' anymore. (of course, because Casey is the perfect one for him anyway  )
The Max thing? *fights the urge to hurl* Why they would ever bring back his moronic role - I'll never know. But I'm thinking we'll get some more in-between-the-lines jealous Derek. Which is always good for the Dasey soul.
I have such a great feeling about this season - I know it's going to bring us some great Dasey moments and new squee potential!

You know what I just thought of?
I'm thinking that the pie in Derek's face from Sally is because he actually did write the "love" (gag) song for her (gag more... why did they have to make her seem so perfect for him in the other episodes? It's just NOT FAIR... waaa....) and then he had Casey sing it (it's funny, though, cos apparently Ashley and some of the others from the cast think that Michael can sing. *shrug* Maybe he's just not all out-there with his voice n stuff. Or maybe it's just for humor purposes for the show. Anyway... on with my point) and that pissed Sally off (because she's going to turn out to be the jealous type in my world, even though she seemed the complete opposite in the show. *sigh*) so she threw the pie in his face and dumped him.
And then Derek was sad and went home to Casey who comforted him and then they had an intense make out session and then they got married years later and had little Dasey babies.
*righteous nod* Anyone agree? lol

Some things really make sense to me, and I hope they will be more Dasey moments than season 3. Especially since this one is the last before the movie.

Im convinced, if Dasey is going to happen at all, its gonna be Sally who points it out.

God, I loved and hated the first episode of season 4, but I can't wait to see the next episode on sunday the 27th. I'm pumped because of the whole Casey-is-going-to-rejoin-D-rock-and-sing-at-smelly nelly's thing. And the whole Derek-gets-a-pie-in-the-face thing. I'm totally convinced as well that Sally is the jealous type and there will be Dasey in this season and in the movie. I'm so sure of it. And if I'm wrong (god forbid) I'll wonder, "Where did I go wrong? I was so sure that Dasey would happen." And I'll most likely go through Keppler-Ross's 5 stages of grief. But, at the end...stage 5, Acceptance, that is sooo not acceptance. It's stage two (anger) to a whole new level. Wrath. Rage. Wanting mass-destruction to fall upon the writers' that I once loved and cherished. Oh, yeah, they are going down if they don't give us what we want.
