when looking at the board with the pots facing you up in the top left corner are two resistors all by themselves (the pics in this website show them missing and a burned area under where they should be)... I had a power tube blow which sparked and cooked these resistors... my amp tech could not read the bands on the resistors well enough to get the exact rating... he guessed his best and put in two and the amp fired up ok but he wants to be dead sure they are right before he gives it back to me.
We have been waiting for a schematic for three weeks in the mail and no luck yet it is really worrying me. So can anyone with a schematic scan it or get me the values of those resistors or just open the amp and take some really close up pictures of the resistors in there. I really need this amp back. Thanks! I would also appreciate maybe a scan of the schematic if possible. Thanks so much to anyone who reads this.
Hello ,,, First off ,, I have the GT-50 combo amp ,,, also,, I have a schematic,,, of the Stealth 50 head ,,,I believe it will be the same ,,,, I'll have to do some digging ,,, as i think it is at my girlfriends place in ,the spare bedroom ,,with all my other projects,,
BTW,,15 more days of production left at the Ampeg,Crate U.S.A. plant her in N.W. Arkansas,,then all Ampegs and Crates will be made in Vietniam and China,,the evolution of corporate America,,it sucks,,,

I did manage to get a hold of a VL-502 sample chassis,,sent down from St.Louis,,,went through it ,,it had been modded ,,the effects loop and reverb has been bypassed ,,put in a fresh set of 6550 output tubes,,this amp is pure fire and brimstone,,,with that Lee Jackson tone,,,I'll try and get a pic up,,as i mounted the chassis in a black tolex Crate BV-120 head cabinet,,,
