hi,

i have to replace a few - does anybody know the exact specs of the built-in light bulbs?
there are numbers & digits printed on [E-1810], does that mean 10V?
thanks a lot

tobias.

The VL-1002 bulbs are a standard 6.3 volt bulb used in any Fender amp.

it is also known as a # 47.

One thing I found was , on some of the VL power transformers the heater supplies are a little week, so the lights seem dim and this will rob power from the tube heater supply, so what does this mean?

It is actually better sounding if you just put one bulb in instead of (3)

You get more gain......
