I was on the post about defining ships on the main page and I couldn't help but wonder myself if people read the fanfiction because they have an odd curiosity in Dasey? It's one thing to be aware of the ship because, well whether they like it or not it's everywhere but watching Dasey videos on you tube or read fics seems like something you would want to avoid? So why do they watch it? any thoughts or comments?

This is awesome for dasey shippers because usually the fanfiction/video will convert antis into pros, for example, I was against dasey until I read a few awesome fanfics, now here I am, logging on dasey nation everyday and obsessing over everything LWD related. Hopefully more people will follow my footsteps and join the dark side Mwahaahaha!

^Yes I agree I think it's awesome if they are going to read the fanfics and watch the vids with intentions of just checking out the water. The ones who just go in and start crap are just dumb.

I don't have a fanfiction account but do people actually start crap and write hate letters on ff.net to the author? If they didn't it wouldn't surprise me.

I don't think so, the dasey fights are usually at IMDb or TV.com, because the anti daseys know they would get crushed if they went and started trouble at the birthplace of dasey, everywhere else they probably stand a chance, but if they actually starts crap at fanfiction net, the place where the most dasey-ers hang out, they're gonna get flamed or insulted to next year, even antis aren't that dumb...

Hmmmmmm. I was gonna post a new topic about this...kinda but I'll just post my rant here. Ok...get ready. I don't know how long it will be...

So, I have a theory on anti-daseyers. So, notice how they post comments that are...well anti-dasey? What I'd like to know is why are they watching all these dasey videos and reading fanfics anyway? Why bother right? Well I think that some or most of them are really in love with dasey but are afraid to admit it. So they hide it by making obnoxious comments.

But the others are just ignorant....

And a sliver of them don't mind it but just don't like the ship...like for no reason other than they like another ship better. Like Sasey or something.

Masey lovers? IDIOTS. LOL. But seriously, I have never come across a Masey vid on YT that actually promotes the couple. All the ones I've seen bash him and Casey ends up with someone else(Derek mostly!) or just bashing on him in general. Obviously, we RULE fanfiction and YT. MUAHAHAHA.

I definitely agree with your rant. If they don't like the couple...then why do they watch Dasey vids and Dasey fanfiction? They obviously got online and deliberately typed in "derek/casey" and searched for that type of material. Like you said, if you hate a couple then you usually don't go to their websites or fanfics.

I don't know, I think it's absolutely crazy. And you're right about the lack of Pro-Masey vids on YT. Actually from what I've seen even the majority of vids with Sasey or Nasey even seem to have SOME sort of Dasey in it, lol. Dasey fans definitely rule the web

yea. I never Realised the was such thing as dasey until I saw it on youtube and from there I found a link to fanfiction.
