Derek Venturi, played by Michael Seater
Derek Venturi is the complete opposite of his stepsister Casey. He's very popular at school, prankster, and a big trouble maker. Over the years, Derek always got what he wanted, at home and at school. He uses his charm to get dates with girls, and it actually works. Derek is also really good at sports, especially hockey. Even though he doesn't say it, it's pretty clear that he has a close relationship with his brother Edwin. Derek finds picking on step-sister Casey extremely entertaining. But what he didn't expect was her to fight back. Derek's rein over the household might be tested because of her. He doesn't like anyone stepping on his territory. Even though he's seen as a bad guy, Derek has a soft spot for his sister Marti. He calls her Smarti and she calls him Smerek. But Derek won't let his soft spot get in the way of winning what he really wants... Casey.
Obviously written by a Dasey fan. Love it!

Ehh... see, that's where I draw the line.
As much as I want Derek and Casey to secretly want each other and end up together, it's not exactly canon [yet], and that last statement just seems very biased. I mean, I love Dasey (and, of course, Lizwin) as much as the rest of you, but considering it's not written in stone, we can't forget that Dasey might not happen. It's not official [yet, hopefully] and to write up something that suggests that it IS just seems extremely biased to me.
It's statements like that that make the anti-Daseyers and non-Daseyers want to wage war on us in the first place.
All I'm saying is that we shouldn't make assumptions about things just because we WANT them to happen. At least, not until it's official.

You do know that TVRage is a place where anyone can submit information right? It's not an official source for anything that may happen in the future. All I can do is keep up to date with what is happening currently in the show.
