When Sally said that Derek wrote a song for her, Casey replied "Derek did" She got really pissed.

lol yeah when I saw it I laughed a lot. The way that scene was acted out it seemed that Casey was mad at Derek for using the same song he used on her for Sally. Then Derek gets caught for playing them both. Very funny, it reminded me of "John Tucker Must Die".

That probably wasn't what you meant though when you brought up the scene? I do see how it can also be interpreted that Casey was mad that Derek wrote a song about Sally before even realizing that he just used the song she wrote. Although you can also think that Casey knows Derek doesn't willingly write songs for his girlfriends and knew he may have taken her song. Which is why she already knew that Derek had Edwin stole the song from her room when he tried denying that he took it from her.

I just interperted the fact that she knew that Derek hadn't written the song and that Edwin had stolen it (not Derek himself) as her knowing Derek better than Sally does. Again. Just another reason why Dally ISN'T MEANT TO BE.

I agree with all thats been said. And I love when Derek show's up and is like "CA-SEY, SAL-LY" The whole scene seemed so love-trianglish. A lot of scenes with the three of them do Casey acts like the ex-girlfriend who knows him better. lol.
