As many of you might not know, Ive been a hardcore Dasey fan since early 2007 (incase you thought I was a Dasey newbie) and Ive been reading most of the LWD chat boards and things like that, and I came across one where it was like "what effect will it have on Lizzie, Edwin, or MARTI?!"
I mean how is admitting your true feelings bad. And it just proves to them to not supress any hidden feelings if they do happen to end up together. And I seriously think it'll teach them that love comes in all forms and it can't be controlled and the only thing to do when that happens is to act upon your feelings.

While your argument is true, i don't think it really addresses a couple things. Like for instance, it WILL affect the rest of the family. I'm positive that in real life the children could be talked to about it, until such a point as they esentially understand.
I think the big thing the anti's are saying regarding this, is that if they were to stay in the same house, well I mean really, what parent in their right mind would let their childs significant other LIVE in the same house together(at 16-17). Cummon now.
But that can easily be rectified if Casey or Derek or both either go to live in the dorms at their universities, or if they live with their other parent(ie caseys dad, or dereks mom).

Still, regardless of their age under their parents roof, might not be the smartest course of events, particularly for disney channel or family. BUT as mentioned, there are lots of other good reasonable ways to spin it. _________________ ....In The End.... Only Kindness Matters.....
