This is such a classic song and I just got it on my iPod and when I was listening to it, I could so imagine Derek and Casey singing to each other like Elvis and Ann-Margret. This song is pure U.S.T and Dasey.
Elvis Presley:
She loves me, she loves me not,
She loves me, she loves me not
She loves me, she loves me, she loves me
The lady loves me and it shows
In spite of the way she turns up her nose
I'm her ideal, her hearts desire
Under that ice she's burning like fire
She'd like to cuddle up to me
She's playing hard to get
The lady loves me, but she doesn't know it yet
Ann-Margret:
The gentleman has savoir-faire
As much as an elephant or a bear
I'd like to take him for a spin
Back to the zoo to visit his kin
He's got about as much appeal as a soggy cigarette
The lady loathes him, but he doesn't know it yet
Elvis:
The lady's got a crush on me
Ann-Margret:
The gentleman's crazy, obviously
Elvis:
The lady's dying to be kissed
Ann-Margret:
The gentleman needs a psychiatrist
I'd rather kiss a rattlesnake
Or play Russian Roulette
Elvis:
The lady loves me, but she doesn't know it yet
She's falling fast, she's on the skids
Ann-Margret:
Both of his heads, are flipping their lids
Elvis:
Tonight, she'll hold me in her arms
Ann-Margret:
I'd rather be holding hydrogen bombs
Will someone tell this Romeo
I'm not his Juliet
Elvis:
The lady loves me, but she doesn't know it yet
She wants me
Ann-Margret:
Like poison ivy
Elvis:
Needs me
Ann-Margret:
Like a hole in the head
Elvis:
Everyone can see, she's got it bad
Ann-Margret:
He's mad!
The gentleman is an egotist
Elvis:
I'm simple aware, I'm hard to resist
Ann-Margret:
He's one man I could learn to hate
Elvis:
How's about having dinner at eight?
Ann-Margret:
I'd rather dine with Frankenstein
In a moonlight tete-a-tete
Elvis:
The lady loves me, but she doesn't know it yet
Oh, yes, she loves me
Ann-Margret:
Dig that Shrinking Violet
Elvis:
Oh, she really loves me
Ann-Margret:
Here's one gal you'll never get
Elvis:
She love, love, loves me
Ann-Margret:
Would you like to make a bet?
Elvis:
I said the lady loves me
Ann-Margret:
The gentleman's all wet
(pushes him in the pool)
Ahhhhh, so Dasey!!!!! I could really imagine Derek saying ''I'm simple aware I'm hard to resist.'' And who can't see Casey pushing Derek in the pool? Actually, Derek and Casey's relashonship reminds me of Elvis and Ann-Margret in Viva Las Vegas and we all know how that turned out.
Kisses, Becks
P.S: See where I get my username from? lol
