SQUEE I just saw it!
Before I start raving like a crazy overly obsessed fangirl though, I'd first like to thank the youtube uploaders. Thank you SO much. You guys are my heroes. I thought I'd have to wait til effing October!
Now onto the episode.. this episode was just WOW! I can't even form sentences right now; there is just way too much I have to comment on, so I'll narrow it down as best I can.
-NO SALLY! Not a single mention! I guess this was the set up for inevitable Dally breakup.
-LOVE how just as SOON as Casey mentioned she wasn't going, Derek pops in out of nowhere and says he's staying home too and then quickly throws in an excuse to cover up the REAL reason he chose to stay behind.
-Nora uncomfortable with Derek and Casey being home by themselves. There is no way that the only reason she was uneasy about it, is because Derek and Casey fight a lot. She didn't want two teenagers, horomones raging, alone in the house together. George is the one that's oblivious
-The fact that the writers PURPOSELY left Derek and Casey out of the vacation. During the hotel scenes, I thought about how odd it would have been if Derek and Casey were included in them. They were just WAY too family-oriented and its like the writers knew better then to include Derek and Casey in those scenes.
-All of the adorable banter. Casey stealing Derek's card from him; them both screaming in unison over their lost possessions. Hilarious! They reminded me of an old married couple.
-Similar to The Room scene, there was SO much sexual tension in that one moment in which they circled around eachother. Derek could've grabbed Casey and pulled her into a full on lip lock at that very moment, and it wouldn't have even taken me by surprise. I mean, a Daseyer couldn't ask for better fan video footage; Derek SO looked like he was going to kiss her, and although he didn't, it sure looked like he wanted to. How the anti's can't be converted after watching this episode is beyond me. Real siblings don't stare at eachother with such a burning intensity. Sadly, I've rewound that scene 6 times. I'm so pathetic lol Oh, and LOVED how Derek was grinning wickedly at the spot Casey was standing after she walked away.
-Infamous McDonald-Venturi pillow fight.
-The phone prank, Casey's evil laugh, Derek impressed by the chip bag prank ("not bad"), that neither one could stay on their side of the room.
-The equal look of horror on their faces when Nora called, and them tossing the phone back and forth like it was a bomb ready to explode.
-I see I'm not the only one who noticed them roll over eachother in the speed up. <3 Trust me, I rewound it 5 times rofl
-Casey thinking she fixed the TV lol. Cute. And the fact that Derek didn't shoot her down was even cuter.
-The immediate exchange of glances after George mentions a second trip.
- "If Derek's out. I'm out" - There is no way that line makes ANY sense unless pro-Dasey. Casey secretly had fun with Derek and is up for it again.
All in all, AMAZING episode. Even if it didn't end the way I so desperately wanted it to, it's still the best episode yet IMHO. This episode totally restored any lost hope or doubts I had before. I can honestly say, I've never been more positive about the possibility of Dasey happening as I am now. I just have the strongest feeling that we're going to be rewarded at the end of this season.
So, um ... let's just marvel at these this screencap, shall we?
During the "circle each other" part Derek tilts his head to the left...he was totally about to kiss her.
Ona totally unrelated to this pic news- i made my sis (who doesnt know what Dasey is) watch MB with me and she said that Derek and Casey are soo gonna get married (lol) She also said i would be at the wedding LMAO cuz im a too crazy about them.
When I first read the spoilers, I thought that I was definitely not gonna be happy when I see it because it won't live up to the hype.
Boy was I wrong!
He so was gonna kiss her during the circling, I know it. THEY WERE SO CLOSE. GAH.
And and and Nora was so onto them in this episode, it's not even funny. Come on, "Have fun but not too much fun?" That doesn't even fit in unless you take it the dasey way. I mean, the whole episode Nora says that she's wary of leaving them alone at home because they fight. And the only other way to take "fun" in that sentence is maybe a party, but she doesn't even mention that. So yeah, Nora knows about the dasey, definitely.
And at the end, when they exchanged glances and told the parents they were out? HOW FANFIC WAS THAT?!

Casey is acting so much less uptight than the Casey we used to see. More joking and less seriousness!
Poor Lizzie! I love how George seems oblivious to how the rest of the family didn't have such a good time until the pillow fight!!

ALSO, I love the chips exchange. It showed how pointless most of Derek and Casey's fighting are. And come on, unnecessary fighting? If that doesn't scream UST I don't know what does.

This had to be on of the most craziest viewing experiences of my life. I was really anticipating this episode. More so than ever. I was convinced that every season the first few eps don't focus too much on dasey and this ep would be the pivot point. Up to the premiere I was having dreams about what the ep would be about. They were all completely ridiculous(one included Derek,Casey,Amy, and Sally playing Trouble at Smelly Nellys and the other had Lizzie in the hospital and it was all emotional..yea).
Meanwhile I'm on vacation, so although I was taping it at home, I really didn't want to wait another week to watch it. So with my luck, we ended up staying in for dinner. My friend doesn't watch disney so I was expecting her to roll her eyes or make me change the channel if we stayed on disney.We watched seinfeld from 5-6 and then at 6 I didn't even wait to see if the next show would be decent and started "randomly" flipping through and when I stopped at disney she was too tired to reject my choice. I left it silently with a muttered "oh I like this show"meanwhile I'm so flipping giddy.
My hands were shaking and I was a nervous wreck. My dad was laughing a lot through it(pretty much all the subplot car scenes with gassy and snory--he found lizzie's one-liners to be hilarious) My friend is like dead on the couch and I'm this close to screaming at the tv. I tried to get on youtube through my itouch which had sucky internet connection only to find out it hadn't been posted yet and on this website it only lets me view the first page of each discussion. It was so ANNOYING. So i got home watched it a million times and here is my reaction/review:
IT WAS AMAZING.
The circling bit had me convinced they were about to kiss. I took a vid using my phone and its now my background..yea i'm serious
I loved pranky Casey. Derek really has loosened her up and I love how he was all impressed.
Nora is SOOOOO on to them. Like seriously.
My other fave scene had to be when he let her think she fixed the tv. He gave him the most adorable smirk when he said "sure keep thinking that" and she was so adorable.
Pretty much all the most important things have been said.
I LOVED THIS EP SO MUCH!
One thing I don't get is... When they're discussing going to Niagara, Derek says he's "out". And then Casey says "If Derek's out, then I'm out". They just played a gazillion means pranks on each other... WHY would Casey NOT want to go just because Derek wasn't??? Especially when she wasn't so keen at staying home with Derek during the break in the first place. OOOO i'm sensing so much Dasey. This episode was rife with it. GAH!!
Probably because Casey doesn't trust Derek all alone in the house
Well this how I watched it...
As 5 o'clock rolled around,I was getting all giddy,but then my cousins walked into the door and my aunt told me that my cousin Marcus was going to play ps2 and she had ti take me to moms house cause I had been babysitting at her house.
Well I hadn't even payed attention to the lwd at the moment cause me and my aunt were talking cause i told her i was recording.So when I got to my moms house i had seen that it not had been deleted.Well my wonderful sister had watched the ep and deleted it,the only reason she is still alive is because i turned her into a daseyer.
So i went on youtube about 2 hours later and found out jesterdalafordasey had not recorded it,I AM NOT MAD AT HER! she is amazing cause she has taken the time to put the lwd eps on youtube.well after that i read all the amazing reviews and got pissed.So i started getting on website i could,but my laptop died an i had to get on my ps3.
Well finding the ep on the ps3 was as easy as eating soup with a fork,well on friday jaesta had finally posted it!

i loved the circling,while my dad and i,he is also a dasey and ashley lover,while we watched the circing he litery yelled GO BACK,AND...PAUSE! he and i started giggiling like maniacs! me,ash31096,had posted a comment that it looked like they were gonna kiss and it said +8 in less than 2 hours!
overall i give it a 6 1/2!(J/K)I would give it a billion out of a billion!

Guys I don't know why but everytime I see that scene I get a funny feeling inside THEY WERE SO CLOSE!!! just few more inches and they would be kissing. WHY THE WRITERS/PRODUCERS ARE SO CRUEL
I think they love seeing us writhe and suffer, I can't find another reason that justify scenes like this one. So what would be so terrible if we have our Dasey kiss? Just a tiny insy winsy kiss and I could die in that moment being the happiest woman ever
Ok maybe a kiss is too much for the show right now, but why can't they just give us that damned hug!! They have been playing and teasing us with it for way so long. I think it's time to see some real dasey action.
Anyone else wonder why Disney has never repeated March Break???? They've shown all the other episodes more than once so far, and is scheduled to show 6 1/2 like 2/3 times in the week after it premieres, so why no more March Break?

lol, well I DO schedule my life around LWD. Before 6 1/2 came out I was like 'when I get home from work it'll be on youtube', but I had forgotten that it wouldn't be out til 9:30 in the US which means it would be on Youtube later than that. But thinking it would be on youtube got me through work.
And once I'm on the computer I can't visit Facebook or go on MSN until I've checked all Dasey sites. Dasey is like my life.
At school I can't keep up with who's dating whom and I never seem to be able to concentrate in class. I'll start thinking up great fanfic ideas in class and then my teacher interupts my thoughts and I lose them.
Even my future possible careers are related to LWD. I really have wanted to be an author for the past year. but once my Dasey obsession showed up my writing improved and varied.
Thanks to awesome acting by the cast I really want to be an actress. I always liked acting and I even was in a theatre group for a year when I was little (but the teacher never decided to do it again). I stopped liking it after I had to change schools because I became super shy. Now I'm slowly breaking out of my shyness and being more me (except my life seems to revolve around LWD).
I don't have much of a 'normal' life because I spend so much time thinking about LWD but I find that as soon as I'm home it's like school never exsisted and the computer is once again my best friend. _________________ http://www.fanfiction.net/~allybooklover6677
