So um, as soon as I saw the title, I immediately thought of Dasey. But read along.
I love you but I hate you! ...huh?
Have you ever had a mix of feelings that is driving you completely crazy?
Well, let me tell you that it is extremely common experiencing opposite feelings at the same time and even more, if you are a teenage girl or boy!
A clear example of the crazy feelings a teenager is the song “7 things” by Miley Cyrus; “the 7th thing I hate the most that you do, you make me love you”.
When you are in a relationship of any kind, there are things that you may love about that person and some other things you can’t stand about him/her. Why does that happen?
All human beings are different and, as a result, we all have different ways of showing our feelings. For example, there’s a boy/girl that spends his/her time bothering you, throwing you paper balls, calling you funny names, etc... That makes you feel very angry and confused but if he/she stops doing that, you feel like something is missing, am I right?
The first thing I must say is that not everything is what it seems! What I mean is, maybe that boy/girl is not trying to make you feel angry or sad, but trying to call your attention, have you thought about that possibility? ... and, maybe, the reason why you feel like something is missing when he/she doesn’t bother you is that there’s a possibility that you feel something for him/her and deep inside you think that there’s a chance he/she likes you, don’t you think?
Certainly, you cannot avoid the mix of feelings cause you like the way it feels, I mean, from my point of you, the hate part of this whole situation is a mask that people create to just tell the others “Hey! I’m not givin’ in that easily!”...
So, what can you do to end this situation that is confusing you and the ones that surround you...?
My advice is to re-order your priorities and let your feelings lead you (always think about if this is worthy and important to you, you must be sure about what you want, then more sure you are, the better the things will be!)... The worst thing that can happen is that the relationship doesn’t work... that is not that bad, is it?
Throwing paper balls, calling [Casey] funny names...... Derek, you secret is out, Casey only needs to check that site!!
