Came across this on KochVision recently. It looks as if there will be a new LWD DVD coming in February 2009. However, this doesn't look like a season DVD....

Let the guessing games begin 
I guess Derek, Truman, Noel and Max all fight for Casey and of course Casey shouts and screamS "Der-ek!!!!!!!!!!"
On a serious note, maybe it's a few episodes that are somehow connected to each other... like Dasey buildup to Dasey happening... |

Yeah, I'm thinking themed episodes  .
Maybe...the rise and fall of the DC rivalry? The beginning (The Room) to the end (Some episode where dasey happens?).
Or it could be the alternative to the family movie. Like, they have this one movie for the kiddies where Derek and Casey accept each other as siblings and la-di-dah cue family moment and dancing and blah blah. And ANOTHER movie where Dasey happens?
The first would be the family camping trip MOTW one, and this is the title of the second movie where dasey happens?

12 dollars seems movie price-ish. But then again...Hm.

I doubt it's a movie, because they are still in the planning stages for filming. I'm not sure about the others' schedules, but Mike and Ashley's are full at the moment.
Ashley with "Dirty Dancing" ...
Mike with the "Degrassi" special and the "new show" he's seen filming at Trinity College School. (Methinks it is "18 to Life")

Yeah, probably not. I was thinking a planned release though, since the DVD's gonna be released in 2009.
Wow, big mystery. Can't wait to see what it is!

Yea themed episodes are definitely a possibility. Mebbe it's all Derek and Casey related fighting episodes. Like the Room, House of Games, Prank Wars, March Break,etc. Any episode where Derek and Casey get into some serious competition with each other. And from Lillymouse's description of "No Secrets", perhaps that one too, with all the diary-stealing and sneaking-around. Hmm... so very mysterious.

Hmmm personally, I'd hate an alternate Dasey ending, if it wouldn't be the one and only ending. I want Dasey to be canon in every way; not get two endings that merely accommodate to both fanbases just to please both sides. As much as just seeing it play out is like a dream come true, it still seems like a slap in the face to me. Kind of the feeling you get from those gimmick endings in movies where it turns out everything was just a dream and none of it happened. Okay, so it's not exactly the same, but being an alternate ending only, that would only make our ship canon within bounds. We're loyal viewers who deserve an official ending, without being left to wonder which ending was intended all along by the writers.
I know it sounds pretty childish, but I want to be able to proudly say that Dasey is canon. (Ok so basically I want to gloat lol) But instead it would be more along the lines of, "Dasey is canon because I want it to be canon." I honestly think I'd be almost as depressed with two unofficial endings for the viewer to choose based on their preference, as I would if the show ended anti-Dasey. Am I making any sense at all? lol
It's 3 AM after all. |

LOL, yeah, I getchu.
I would be happy with an alternative ending, however. Because, that way, no one gets hurt, and everyone is happy. All the fighting on TV.com and IMDb will stop because hey, both won. But that's just me.

There's a picture of the cover (which is very similar to the season 1 cover).

Apparently the episodes are from season one. Here's the synopsis:
Derek and Casey are typical teenagers who suddenly become brother and sister when their parents marry. Derek - along with his brother Edwin and sister Marti - soon find interesting ways to welcome Casey and her sister Lizzie. This 4 episode DVD from Season One is hilarious and fun for the whole family. |
