Ok so the other night I had my very first Dasey dream! Squee. I was watching what was supposed to be either the final episode of LWD or a scene out of the movie, whichever. Anyway, dream me was already halfway through the episode and although I never actually dreamt up the beginning, my dream self at the time had apparently been watching from the start since I knew exactly what was going on. Casey is in Paul's office ranting about Derek. Seems like a pretty typical episode.. but THEN, in the most random fashion ever - she bursts and confesses that she loves Derek. Of course Paul just smiles in an "I always knew it" kind of way because he's awesome like that. (Paul DID talk btw. I just don't remember anything he said.) Anyway, Casey then admits to him that she and Derek once *gasp* kissed before Nora and George married and that everything was different between them before the wedding. It then jumps to a flashback with Derek and Casey that is supposed to take place before their parents married. (Btw the promo with the clip from the actual flashback episode obviously stayed fresh in my mind, because flashback Casey has bangs.) They're in school, but it's not the school from the show - it looks more like Degrassi. Anyway, they're sitting on the floor by some lockers and flirting. It sucks because I can't remember ANY of the dialogue, but Derek says something like, "Theres one thing we have to do before our parents marry."and then he leans in and kisses her. You know how the camera circles around two characters when they're kissing in hollywood movies or teen soaps? Like that! It was awesome. If only we could record dream fragments and put them on video lol .

Anyway, scene skips back to Paul and Casey again, and she babbles about how Derek was such a jerk to her after their parents married, and how she THOUGHT she got over him until now. Suddenly it skips to Derek's room. He admits to "me" (yes suddenly I transport into the episode while dream me watches) that the reason he treats Casey like dirt is only because he thinks if he pretends to dislike her long enough he eventually will. Or something like that. It made sense at the time. So I tell him he has to tell her how he feels while dream me watching all of this cheers the other me on.

And now.. another flashback - George and Nora's wedding. This time, the mood between Derek and Casey is exactly like it is on the actual show. Nora and George force them to dance to this slow song because apparently thats the best way to get two future step siblings to form a sibling bond lmao. So the two of them dance in what appears to be a cross between the tango and the waltz, while they glare and deliberately try to step on the other's feet lmao. Again, I WISH I could somehow capture these dreams on video 'cause trust me the tension was hot. Anyway the scene kind of jumps ahead, they fight, and Casey goes off to dance with some faceless guy at the wedding while Derek is shown scowling in the distance. Oh and I also thought I should mention there was some Lizwin interaction in the background too. I can't remember what happened, but they were cute so it was a nice bonus lol.

It then once again skips to a montage of both REAL Dasey moments from the show AND flashback moments I thought up in my head. It was cool because the clips (both real and the ones I dreamed up) kept switching between fluffy "flashback" scenes that I made up along the way, to actual clips that happened on the show. Anyway, from there, it skips straight to Derek and Casey sitting on Derek's bed. Don't ask what happened in between because I don't know. All I remember is Casey leans in and kisses his cheek and then he pulls her face towards him and kisses her. Dream me jumps up and squeals, my brother says something like "Finally!" and then that's pretty much it. It seemed so real at the time, so I was disappointed when I woke up. I'm actually amazed I remembered so much of it though, since usually I can't even remember what I dream about any other night. But hey, it's Dasey.

Hahaha that was a great dream. Dasey dreams are the most memorable!!
