Daniel Magder (Edwin) in "Sticks and Stones"

So my sister and I were sitting here eating dinner and watching Degrassi when a preview for this TV movie called "Sticks and Stones" comes up, and evidently, the actor who plays Edwin (Daniel Magder) is in it.

It's supposed to be based on a true story and it's apparently about the relations between Canadian hockey and American hockey, and how these two boys (one of them being Daniel) try to merge two of their teams together or something.

At least, that's what I got out of the preview.

It looks interesting, though, so if you live in Canada, it's going to be on at 8:00 PM tomorrow night on CTV.

I'll watch it and tell you the rest tomorrow. Wink

I've heard about this movie through internet news articles.

If I'm not mistaken, Daniel plays one of the teams' captains.

Alright, so I just finished watching the movie and I must say... I enjoyed it. It was a good movie with great acting and guess what?

The kid who played Edwin's friend Teddy in the episode "Misadventures in Babysitting" was also in it.

I was wrong about about Daniel's character being on the Canadian team, though. He was on the American team. Still, it was really good.

I missed most of it but watched the ending part of it. I knew Daniel would be in so I wanted to watch it, but when I saw the actor who played Teddy my brain alsmot exploded. It was like LWD overload. I think Mike or Ash was gonna pop up or something. But this shows how Canada has a smallish group of actors that they use for every show or tv movie produced here.

Yeah that's what I noticed about Canadian actors too, they are all constantly working with each other. People in the U.S. wish their favorite actors from a TV show would work together again after a show they did together. For Canada that happens all the time. I think that's really cool.

I wish I could see the movie. Sad
