Welcome to Forum Pictures section!!
Dear Portadelmar friends, we'd be very happy if you shared some of your photos, with us and the rest of Portadelmar friends.
Pick up the right category and start posting your photos!! The procedure is really simple and is described in the three steps below.
Please, resize your image and select the thumbnail link before posting them, so that it won't fill the whole forum window. Check out my posts to see what i mean.
3: Using Img's tags to show your image in the forum

You may find it easier to try the followings for posting a picture, as our Golden Member Mr. Dave suggests:
To all who are experiencing difficulty with getting your snaps onto the forum.
I recommend a host called photobucket. www.photobucket.com . All you have to do is create an account in the usual way and the rest is simple. Upload your photos into your pre-named folder and when that is complete tick the small box at the left hand side below the photo. Navigate to the bottom of the page and click "Generate HTML and IMG code". This will provide you with a series of options. Choose the third as I have found this to be the best.(IMG clickable thumbnails for message boards- recommended).
Left click at the very start of this window keeping the button pressed and drag the mouse to the right making sure that you go beyond the extent of the window in order to grasp all the code.Do it quickly. It should end with [/URL]. This can take some dexterity as I found out in the early days. Now right click anywhere on the solid blue line which has appeared and click copy on the new window which appears. You may now paste the new image into your Porta Del Mar forum page. Open your page and start the edit function, add a title if you wish and then in the main window right click and then click paste. Then all you have to do is click submit. Your picture will now appear automatically. Don`t click anything while the forum cruncher is thinking! You should be now the proud owner of a picture for the whole world to see. One last thing. It`s better not to to click on the browser back button in order to get back to the main menu as doing this repeatedly will take you back through the edit pages again. Just click go next to the jump to forum window and you will be taken back to the main pictures menu. As you become more accomplished you will be able to upload more pictures in one go using the bulk uploader on the photobucket home page. Then you may tick more than one box and generate HTML code for many photos in one go.
Getting video clips on is a different animal altogether. If anyone wants instructions then just say or just ask a 10 year old!! Thats what I did. A broadband connection is desirable as it can take some time. Also as is common with video hosting sites they only accept video in certain formats. WMV and AVI are acceptable but I find WMV files to be of poor quality and always use the AVI format. The files are encoded to the ".flv" format during the upload (flash video). Depending on which format your video camera records in (most modern camcorders record as a DVD) then you will need to convert the DVD video file to AVI on your computer.
If any of the above does not work or if you are still having problems then please PM me . I`m always here for your assistance.
Dave
