In my review of this episode I had mentioned the part where Derek is going upstairs after dumping his cereal on Edwin, and you can catch him looking at Casey as he's going! Just wanted to share this cap with you guys!

I saw that he was looking at her! Omg if that was just a slip of Michael, it's still awesome lol.

Yeah haha I agree!

An anti might say he was looking at Edwin, but when you watch the scene, you can tell it was clearly Casey that he had his eyes on. Very Happy

I saw that the first time i watched the episode and nearly squealed, rewound it (or scrolled back since I watched it on youtube) and watched it again like 5 times.

Okay, completely random but, remember the end of "Home Movies" when Derek shows Casey his extras on his DVD, of her gurgling water? Well I was just wondering...does he always spy on her with a video camera or what? Lol. I wonder how many other times he's taped her without her knowing?

I know! I watched it a couple times to make sure I wasn't seeing things! But it ended up I wasn't. How fantastic is that? I love catching them doing things like this...it's just like...why do they even try anymore.

^ I think Derek has a file just full of Casey footage. Every time the video camera appears in an episode, he's filming her.

I didn't notice the glance at Casey in the first viewing, but once I heard about it, I went back to watch. I tend to think that's a slip on Michael's part, but I'll enjoy what we got. Very Happy

I think it might be a slip as well, but hey, I'm with ya on that one! Michael gave us that slip therefore Derek is watching Casey going up the stairs haha I love it.

Also - yeah I wonder that sometimes too like...how much footage of her he really does have.

Anyway I just love how when she sees that footage of her gurgling, she tries to delete it from his computer, and when they're pushing each other, they're smiling! Because they just love to touch Mr. Green

I only saw the episode once and didn't notice that. Defiantly a slip that the director didn't notice. Or it was too little of a slip for them to reshoot the scene. You know those directors, they get so fed up with Mike and Ashley that if they can get a shot of them not laughing then they're happy.

I need to rewatch episodes after I watch them. I suck at looking for detail. Once a character is not the main focus of the scene I don't pay attention to them anymore. lol.

I rewatched that scene in Slacker Mom where Casey rises from her chair and she gets really close to Derek. Haha I've paused that scene where she's near him and he just has this look on his face like he wants her to kiss him! I honestly think Mike has a crush on Ash or something and we get these slips from him and turn it into Dasey lol. Or maybe all the Dasey is intentional?

Which reminds me, haha I pointed out to my brother in one Dasey pic, Derek has his hand on Casey's butt lol and my brother was just like you're weird dude. Haha, but he didn't say like 'no he doesn't' lol.

I'm like, 'see he wants her' and my brother's like 'no.' Psh, he's blind then.

Haha yeah my sister has finally joined the Dasey side. *does happy dance* And it's funny cause the moment that finally won her over was we were watching 'Babe Raider', and the part where Casey's walking down the hall in her outfit and Sam and Derek come out of the room and just stare/gawk at her, and she did a squee. It was so funny. Then she proceeded to make a list of reasons as to why Dasey isn't incest and hunted down some anti-Dasey's to post it to.

But in all reality I think it's mixed. While I do think there is some major intentional Dasey, I also think once in a great while we'll have a slip from Mike. Which is awesome because if they don't edit it out...hey, we have every right to take it as Dasey as well.

That's adorable!

It is mixed, sometimes I think it's Mike- I mean his delivery and looks are awesomely Dasey. But then again- the director/s don't stop him or try and edit it down...

Either way, it makes me happy.

Yeah exactly if Mike and Ashley were misleading their characters then the editors/directors of that episode would correct them. But they don't so it must be kept for a reason.

They love to do that whole get close and then walk away thing. Mike and Ashley did that similar move from Slacker Mom in one of the podcasts.

I think that Mike and Ash want Dasey to happen too, so maybe they're slipping some things in. Also you bring up a good point - if the director's really wanted it out of there, they would take it out.
