Hey all new to the forum but I have been using the VL-502 for quite some time love them they are most amazing amps question I have is my band has started playing some fairly decent sized venues and I would like to use two heads at the same time with simultaneous channel switching going from the clean to high gain channel on both heads at the same time I have a Marshall two button footswitch with a trs end on it it works great for one head is there a way to mod it to switch both my VL's at once from clean to dirty ? Any suggestions or even a product recommendation is great..

hi anthony,

the easiest way to do is would be using a midi switcher like the [discontinued] nobels ms8 or a rocktron patchmate or even the voodoolab.
the last 2 would be a perfect opportunity to use both preamps [that would mean four different sounds]. im using nearly the same setup [2 vl 1002 and a soldano preamp] into a patchmate.

i just got a footswitch for a vl 1002 from lee's website. it was about 40 something bucks, work fine and looks cool. almost a shame to step on it !!!
