Hello, I've been trying to repair my vl503 and now I know that the problem is post-phase inverter...but as I cannot introduce signal at any point after it, I cannot continue testing.... The problem is that I get a typical opamp clipping, maybe a badly biased one ... Does any of you know what component is causing this? As i said before, the problem is between the phase inverter and the output jack...

Probably the problem is in the power supply... and preamp works almost good because it's not as sensible as power section, but the sound is very compressed, so that lack of headroom makes sense....the voltages in the PS are good, but i don`t know how much they should be in the tubes..
Does anyone have a voltage chart of tube pins?
Thanks |
