Hi Lee:

My XLSC has a problem. The distortion channel isn't getting to the power amp, while the clean channel still works loud and fine.

Any idea what component is toast? Also, my amp tech was asking for a schematic of the amp. Do you have one?

If anyone is thinking of new tubes for one of these, I bought Sovtek 5881WXTs and Tung Sol 12AX7s per Lees recommendation.

Can anyone help me with this?

I changed all the tubes, no change. Problem is the same. The dirty channel is almost silent like the power amp is doing nothing. Clean channel sounds fine.

If I turn on the FX loop and jumper it with a cable I can get slightly more volume by cranking the gain on the loop up (tube powered loop) but the dirty channels still sounds crappy and weak.
I cant find a schematic for this thing either.

Anyway, at this point I just want to get rid of this amp. I appreciate any help anyone can give, and if you want to make an offer on the amp in its current state, then please email me. If you knew anything about fixing amps this would be great for you.
