Twilight/Dasey Problem

Okay, so I sort of have a little bit of a problem.
My Dasey love is going away...
I know...
GASP!
But my friend told me that I HAD to read Twilight, so I did, and this...3 days later...I've finished the first 2 and am DYING to read the 3rd...but it's not in the library yet...
So my Dasey love is being taken over by the Twilight love.... I feel disloyal...but the new season doesn't start until this summer...so... Sad

I literally looked up from my book and looked at my email, and there was one from Dasey Nation, and I was like...What's Dasey?
WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME????
Has this happened to anyone else?
Or am I the only one who's been swept up by the Twilight/BellaEdward love???

Ouch. Understandable though. Things don't always stay as prominent and important as they seem when you first get into something. If you really care and want to get back into it, try watching your favorite episodes, reading fanfics or watching Dasey videos on youtube?

hehehe thanks, yeah, but I think that until Season 4 starts...I'll stick with Twilight...haha I'm pretty obsessive compulsive though...so maybe it'll wear off...but my best friend is pretty Edward obsessed, so that may be hard... :/ I'll try....

I get what you mean. I have been reading Twilight. I'm on the third book now and eeeeeep, am loving it still. Bella/Edward have always been so cute. Anyways, I keep them balanced. I get all obsessed while reading but then I seem to come here and my dasey love returns. Just try to find a balance in the meantime and you should be all good, Smile

hahah they're making a 4th one called breaking dawn...the cover's supposed to come out on like the 31st...and omg I care more about Twilight then I do about DASEY I was like...oh, okay, season 4's coming out this summer...but TWILIGHT MOVIE'S COMING OUT ON 12/12/08!!! omg...Do I have to have like therapy for this or something???
oh, and my friend and i are making shirts....for edward...godddddd...I need help. MAJOR HELP!

I know how you feel with this addiction you get to Twilight. Though, my Dasey love isn't being taken over by Bella/Edward considering I despise Bella/Edward. : p (And no, I'm not a Jacob/Bella shipper. I hate Jacob/Bella even more. I cannot stand Jacob.)

I guess I'm one of the only Jasper/Bella and Edward/Alice shippers (a serious shipper, I mean, because I know a few people toy with the idea but don't consider it). It's just, when I read Twilight for the second time, I found myself squealing with tons of joy during the scenes between Jasper and Bella, while I didn't even feel anything when there was interaction between Bella and Edward. They're just so boring these days.

And of course, the teaser for the Twilight trailer is not making the movie look like it's going to be very good. (Edward attacking a goat/lamb/whatever? Cheesiest thing I have ever sen. It left me laughing hysterically for the rest of the trailer.)

Yeah, my Twilight love is kind of...disappearing, considering I know Stephenie would never break up Edward and Bella since they're "meant to be".

I know what you mean though about finding yourself in a falling out from Dasey. I'm afraid once Dasey actually happens it's going to immediately bore me and I'm going to fully convert to a Ralph/Casey shipper or something like that. Also, I currently have a Gossip Girl obsession and my love for Chuck/Serena and Dan/Blair is starting to overpower my love for Dasey. Of course, for now, Dasey remains numero uno.

I love love LOVE twilight! I've read all three books and can't wait until the fourth come this August! SQUEE and the movie i'm a little worried about but of course i'm gonna go see it opening night!

hehe I'm more of an Edward/Bella person...because I love the whole 'protection' thing...cause I mean, I get verbally yelled at like all the time, and I just always wish that there would be someone there you know that was like protecting me. But, I must admit....I wanted to kill...literally KILL Edward when he left Bella in New Moon. It didn't make any sense to me, and the story sort of bore me without him. Cause he's just so...idk. Heheh. So yeah, I like the whole Edward/Bella thing. Jacob just either needs to completely 'dump' Bella or become friends with her. He's too much on the fence. He's all 'STUPID BLOODSUCKER LOVER' and then he's crawling into her window at night saying, 'Sorry!' and she's all...'I still love you, Jacob!' I'm like...BLECH
but I think the movie's gonna be pretty cool. But in the teaser, Edward SO didn't jump out of a window to show her how he ran, and he so didn't FLY!

My Dasey love just isnt what it used to be. D:
I feel unfaithful to my first love, Dasey.

I read the books a couple months ago and was hooked like that!

Although im not a crazy fan, like, I'm not one to through a fit because Jaspers hair looks like its been through a slaughter house.
Or if Edward is going to fly rather than run.
Im just excited to even have a movie. Ya'know?

And also, I'm a universal shipper to every show/novel/movie I like.
So I read anything ranging from Jasper/Bella to Casey/Sally.

But Twilight does get boring after awhile :/
I would try reading a lot of fanfic, just to get sick of it and return to Dasey love for something new.

Thats what I do, Its been working so far.
Haha, right now im on my Dramione binge :'D

I liked those books, but I think my Dasey obsession is definately higher on the scale... But that's because, for me, it's newer! Laughing

And, I just want to say this now! I LOVE Dramione! I've written some fics for it... Very Happy

well right now I'm waiting for my stupid library to get in 'Eclipse' because there are stupid people in this stupid state of Virginia who don't want to return their stupid books because they would rather want to spend money because they're STUPID. Very Happy

I'm done ranting. I wanna read the third one soooo bad!! I got such a bad sunburn too from reading the book. I was outside for like 4 hours in the sun each day reading each book. Razz

Everything's burnt, even my part in my hair. I wish I hadn't done that....

I understand how you feel about your Dasey love slipping away. For me what did it was Quogan (Logan/Quinn) from Zoey 101. I got so heavy into that (still kind of am) that I neglected Dasey.

I started reading Twilight too! I LOVE the first book. I'm getting the other two books from a friend this week so I am very excited about that.

I wasn't too happy about the trailer either, especially Edward calling Bella a spider monkey. I'm hoping that the part in the trailer where Bella says she isn't scared and Edward telling her that she should be that it doesn't actually go to him jumping out that window. That's just all wrong... I hope the movie is either close to or exactly 2 hours...

I love this series...so amazing. And the third book for some reason starts off as the others do....with Edward. Anyways...I read ahead in the third book and ROFL. There's this one HILARIOUS conversation between Edward and Bella....anwyays.

I hope this doesn't turn into the Blood and Chocolate fiasco. The movie was NOTHING like the book. It pissed me, Kait, and my friend Christina off so much. So effing mad. They better stay true to Twilight. Or do the best they can.

Obviously, some things change. Anyone else notice the "How long have been 17?" is in the car in the book but in the forest in the movie? I did. So I'm a little scared to see it but REALLY excited. It better be good. Anyways, Kat made a good point. That some things are changed to make more intense. Understandable.

Scenery adds more effect than you think. Taking video has taught me a lot about movies...but gah. It better stay true to the book. OR ELSE!
