HOMG FLASHBACK EPISODE FROM LATIN AMERICA

For those who don't have LJ...Another person have just seen a new episode from Latin America! AND THIS ONE HAS A DEREK/CASEY FLASHBACK. NO LIE.

Hey guys I?m Laura I love seeing the episode reviews and I?ve noticed that a few episodes aired in latin america (like the previously recaped No Secrets) that others haven?t seen, so I thought I?d share about the latest episode that I?ve seen, If it?s already aired let me know and discuss away! Very Happy

What I remember is that the episode starts out at the House, Nora?s blindfolded and George asks her how would she feel about spending their anniversary in a sunny beach in Mexico, Nora of course gets all exited and takes off the blindfold "Were going to MEXICO?" yeah, no. George and the kids brought Mexico to her by decorating the house in a Mexican theme, George even cooked a mexican/swiss dinner (which yes he messed up Razz

) also he gave her a gift certificate!!! (for an oil change for her car). Anyway the episode is really about the first time Casey and Derek met.

Nora somehow comes up with the topic and hints that it was a disaster, the other kids ask what happened ans Casey and Derek get really uncomfortable and dont want to talk about it but Nora insists and Casey, cause Derek keeps protesting, gives in and starts telling the story.

FLASHBACK BABY!! I won?t get into much so everyones not totally spoiled.

Cut to a private school uniform-hair bun/reteiner wearing Casey, shes at Dereks school to finally meet him. Why they haven?t before? Well Nora and George know their kids. Nora said ?Maybe? when George proposed and a lot is riding on Casey?s opinion of Derek, shes met Edwin and Marti already, and what she thinks of the achool and moving and all that.

Anyway a very nervous Nora leaves her to it and Casey meets Derek Venturi. Derek is nice and sweet to her, he shows her around the school and is kind of weird but in a ?I wanna pat your head? sort of way. By lunch time Casey is thinking positive things about this marriage and the school, but then Derek?s friend Ralph comes along and of course is a jerk to her, even giving her money and telling her to go buy something while he talks to Derek. Casey of course goes off in a huff and tells Ralph that he should learn some manners from Derek.
Wait, did I mention that Derek paid Ralph to pretend to be him? Very Happy

cause he did.
Ralph is awesome.

I won?t spoil it even more but I can say there?s A LOT of Casey/Derek interaction, a whole bunch of Dasey-is-the-most-obvious-thing-ever moments and really sweet George/Nora. And of course George and Nora as complete pushovers to.

I don?t remember any Sam, Emily, Sally or anyone not Venturi-McDonal-Ralph related Razz

Not sure if it fits with the backstory hints weve seen before but all in all a really fun episode.

HAHAHA.... this has got to be the most awesome episode EVER!! ROFLMFAO... RALPH pretended to be DEREK??? this episode seems hilarious... I too want to die of happiness... I will forgive that pimple on the face of LWD that was Derek Denies Denial for this eppy.... *sighs contentedly*

This also explains the sombreros we see Derek and Casey wearing in one of the promos. I'm quivering with excitement... this should be one hell of an episode.

Ralph is in this episode?? *squeals uncontrolably* YES!!!! I LOVE Ralph, he's so incredibly clueless and funny!! One of the many reasons that DDD failed to be great (or even good) was that they didn't have Ralph, that I can remember. If Ralph had been in the episode with some awesome line the episode would have been improved but I guess that Daphne wanted us to hate DDD.......

I love the whole flashback idea even if its a little weird (seeing as they didn't look like they did in season 1). And Ralph and Derek switching was awesome!!

That episode sounds just...(i can't think of a word)...it sounds just too cool for school... Embarassed

I swear, if we get to see that episode within the month I'm going to be ESTATIC. Hyper-active, dasey-fangirling, ESTATIC! This...that brief plot outline....it's just made of pure win.

Someone explained to me that Derek paid Ralph to be "Derek". As in, the one who shows her around and stuff, and he pretended to be Ralph so Casey would like "him"(the person that Ralph actually is), but he could still be mean to her. I dunno if it's what that person meant though it does make more sense.
