the village from our Cessna in October 07: First the olives in sacks ...and out of the sack Then washed and made pulp then Centrifuge Olive Oil Extraction System and finally the separation of the liquids and here it comes the "golden liquid" after First Press
The old Olives Press, where my Dad Kostas was working in the '50s
Tasos Olive-groves in Psari - Peloponese
The most remote olive field of Tasos, producing bio-olive oil . At the top of the mountain the chapel of Saint Elias!

| Many thanks Tasos. It`s good to see your roots. How on earth did you ever get into banking. You must tell me one day. |

Hi Dave and Julie,
You see I feel very homesick beeing in England! A few days ago we harvested the olives in Psari AND please guess who helped me this time? Oswald and Sonja from Belgium!!! I am not sure if they enjoyed it!!!! Any way, they said they did... _________________ Tasos

I am also very homesick beeing (sic) here in England. I would have preferred to have been collecting the olives also. I envy Oswald and Sonja. It`s freezing fog here at the moment and I`m sure it`s not much better in Southampton. Roll on May when we can again enjoy the beautiful Psarou beach. Julie has been to see the family today and is still not yet home. Blady womma!!
Much love to all and hope you have a very happy Christmas even though you are probably freezing your nuts off. (Google it) D+J. |

The last couple of days have been to the New Forest. It was cold but most of the time we spent in Pubs or shops! I have tryed tens of different bitters. The best I liked this time was "the ugly sisters" I also found driving here much easier as Zante! |
