okay so i am generally curious as to the reasons why people seem to hate sally so much. and yes i realize that she has derek but besides that what is there? believe me i want dasey as much as the next person but derek and sally are good together.
tell me what you think! when you vote plz tell me why you think that way.. and dont say because derek and casey are suppossed to be together! i want real reasons.. thanks!

Sally's a little too...perfect. She's like the Mary-Sue of Life with Derek.
She's smart, pretty, she doesn't take Derek's crap, she can cook, shee gets along with the family. It just seems too forced to me.

Real reasons? Well this shall be a piece of cake.

We don't just hate Sally because of Dasey, I myself remember I have composed a list comparing her to the other LWD characters on level of Mary Sue ness, and the results are seriously disappointing.

I agree with what everyone else said. She's too perfect, too meh. Does she have a negative personnality trait? Really? If so, please inform me, because there is none that I cant think of.

I don't know why, but I hate Sally. I LOATHE Dally. They don't have a lot of chemistry.... Just... nah.

While her perfectness bugs me, I think it was certain scenes that did it for me, particularly in "Derek Un-Done" and "Derek's School of Dating."

In "Derek Un-Done," I hated how she gave him mixed signals. I'm sorry, but she knew what she was doing. Otherwise, she's an idiot.

Also, in "Derek's School of Dating," her apology rubbed me the wrong way.

Sally: It was ... *rolls eyes* ... wrong.

Am I really supposed to like her after that? And although I liked the kiss (because, well, it is Derek), I didn't like how he just accepted the apology.

Should I add that the whole "Derek's nicer around Sally" line is completely wrong? He was rude at the dinner (manners and arguing) she attended in 'Derek Un-Done." What is Casey seeing that we're not? Because Casey is the one who has made him a nicer person. Not Sally.

I tend to think Casey's just in denial there. The line doesn't work otherwise.

I agree with every point you've made snoopy87. Thats why I couldnt stand it if Derek and Sally get together. It just wouldn't make any sense to me.

I just had a thought.....

What if...... Sally and Casey become good friends. From everything we've seen I think maybe its a possibility.

Gah! I hope not. I want sally out of the picture.... although the Sally/Casey vid I just watched..... meh, if you cant have dasey, you cant have Cally. Razz

Oh God I can't STAND these two together at all. Not one bit, and I found the kiss from Derek Undone quite honestly, VERY forced. No offense if there are any Dally fans in here. The problem with Sally and Derek in my opinion, is that they are just too much alike. Sally is practically the female Derek. They are mismatched because unlike Dasey, they don't balance each other out. They're too much alike to be anything more then friends.

As far as Sally goes though - I love her. She's the first female character (other then of course Casey) who hasn't fallen all over herself in the presence of Derek, and by rejecting him the first time, she helped Derek to grow a little in realizing that he doesn't always get what he wants. In fact, she's the first potential love interest of Derek's that has an actual *gasp* personality. I'm glad she'll be back for this season, though I hope her scenes with Derek won't last long. It would be a waste to keep her as only a love interest for Derek when they could do more with her. I'd personally love to see her with Sam or even Max.

i dont HATE Sally. she just annoys the ever loving spit out of me.
she flings around like Mary Sunshine. which confuses me because i would never think that Derek would go for someone that annoyingly perfect.
eh. i just...have mixed feelings about her.
but i definitely dont ship Dally. Evil or Very Mad

YUCK.
