I haven't been on nearly ALL week because of one thing: SCHOOL! I love school and everything, but I'd like to get on the computer, too, besides reading my AP World History book to sleep. Lol.
In case you haven't heard by now, I go to military school. Ya, I'm going to answer that question will most likely be your first, "What did you do?!" Haha, funny, real funny, but I chose to go to military school. I love my school! It's totally awesome and it's a choice school, I can choose to go there, but I don't have to pay! YAY!
Our school campus is brand new. I'm one out of 500 students to first set foot on it. Last year, we were on the same campus as two other schools. Ugg, the main school, Bartow, did not accept us. They chucked sandwhiches at us, laughed at us, made fun of us for wearing ACU's (Fatigues or Camo), all that jazz. HATE THEM! But, the other school, IB, is totally awesome. I love those smart kids.
My classes are pretty funny. I'm a sophomore.
I have Psychology I for first period. Today was my first day going because of schedule changes and everything. And when I got to the portable, there was a Bartow girl there talking to me. Just talking, talking, talking. And then she suddenly stopped and said, "I'm sorry. I'm just so happy today. I get to see my son!" I was like, "Well, that's....good..." Her son? Yeah, that's what Bartow is. I saw this girl carrying twins around....
I have Chemisty Hon. for 2nd period. The teacher was a science teacher at my middle school. I love her. She is totally awesome, but the class is huge! I have to use the teacher's stool because we were short one. Lol.
I have Japanese 2 for 3rd period. Haha, yeah, you heard right...Japanese.....2. I took Japanese 1 last year. Japanese is totally awesome, but our classroom is a little crowded. Not because of kids, but because of the computers....that we don't use.
I have Alg. 2 Hon. for 4th period. That class is, like, OMFG....There are 25 desks in the class...and 33 kids. Yeah, 33. We got some chairs for the rest to sit in...except for this one dude...he had to sit on the floor. Only three of them can change. We need more desks! Lol.
I have AP World History for 5th. I have 5th period everyday. I love this class, especially the teacher. He is so freakin' lame that it's hilarious. He tries to make all these jokes and then he does this weird thing. He's like "Never fear! Derivitive Man is here!" He dances, does some thing with his arms and goes up to the bored and we break words down to their roots and whatnot. He's like, "Derivitive man is my alter ego, no, not my altar ego. That was when I got married." And then there's silence...then roaring. Lol. He's a funny, old man.
I have English II Hon. for 6th. This class is huge as well. The whole room is full of tables that two people sit at at a time. There were 6 people (including me) without a seat. Lol. I retrieved a chair from another classroom and sat by my best friend, though.
And last, I have JROTC for 7th. I have like, the BEST ROTC instructor ever!!! Well, last year, Top was pretty awesome, too, but Sergeant Harris is sooo cool, too. Today, we tried to teach all the new kids basic drilling and it was hilarious. I thought they were so adorable, trying to figure out how to stand at parade rest. Some of them had their hands place wrong. It was cute to see them trying. Love them.
Well, I just went on blabbing about school when you guys probably didn't even read this! Lol! I just felt like rambling. But, if you did read this (you weirdo...lol, kidding, but, no, seriously...why?) then, you can ramble about your school, too....if you're in school.

That's really cool. I wish MY school had a Japanese course... I would love to learn the language.
Alas, we only have French, Spanish and Italian. _________________ Lizwin: My Anti-Drug
We also have Spanish, German, Chinese, and Arabic.
Some pretty odd classes we have.
Kendo - japanese art of sword fighting.
Judo
Equestrian - horsies!!! Lol.
Scuba
Forensic science
Self Defense (I think that one isn't too odd actually)
We use to have Karate...but, let's just say something about Myspace and a student....>.> _________________ Karissa

Lol, I know...it is awesome....Sorry, I like to brag about my school.
We have a few kinks and crap. Like, my English I teacher last year...he was soooo freakin' perverted...he told jokes that were not meant to be told! Lol, but he was okay...just creepy. And we can never figure out whether we should walk to lunch in a giant formation or in our companies. Lol.
What interesting courses do you have at your school? _________________ Karissa

You want to learn Japanese? Do you know any of it?
*cough* Anyway, this year for languages, I'm going to be learning Japanese, Esperanto, Yiddish, and Sign Language. _________________
Wow, I wish i went to your school, Daseyislife. Alas, I only went to a silly old arts high school and went on to a regular old college in NYC... *sigh*. But you're taking some pretty advanced classes for a sophomore... I applaud you for that.... I was an underachiever when I was a sophomore in high school haha. I'm about to become a sophomore in college and thankfully I've changed my habits... _________________ --"Don't you know there are exceptions to all my rules?!?" [Casey]

Yeah, that's some extremely basic stuff, but we just started out and we've been reviewing characters and whatnot.
Okay, Shourai, what the heck is Eperanto and Yiddish? Lol, sounds like gibberish. >.<
Immortalz3000: I'm not really much of an overacheiver. I've never ever gotten any awards for anything and most kids think that I am an overacheiver and the smartest person ever. One girl wanted me to set up a math tutoring group. But, I just really want to get into UOIT and I'm also considering UoT. My school is also very far from NYC, I've always wanted to go to NY, but I have failed at going. It's good that you changed your habits, though. And besides, my school is an honors school, you don't take regular classes unless you are doing so horribly in honors, but AP World History is the only AP class I could take this year...well, except for AP Psychology, but I can't take that due to special circumstances with my classes. I wanted to take it...but, oh, well I guess. I'm not sure if we're having Japanese 3 or not, so if we're not, I really want to take French at IB. It's a wonderful thing how I can take IB classes and Bartow classes and not have to go there or pay. But, Bartow has to pay to take any class at my school. SHWEEEET! Lol.

Ah, somehow, I knew you would ask that...
Yiddish has some similarities to the German language. However, it uses Hebrew letters, except some letters have different sounds in Yiddish than they do in Hebrew. Still, though, since I know how to read Hebrew, I shouldn't have too much trouble. XD
Esperanto isn't known as well as Yiddish. Actually, I'm surprised you didn't know what Yiddish was.
...Anyway, Esperanto was a language that was made for the sole purpose of helping people from different countries communicate with each other. A universal language, if you will.
Ex. of Esperanto: La Japania oni havas granda arton! (Translation: " The Japanese people have great art!")
Did you know that they even have a Wikipedia in Esperanto? _________________
Okay, that was really odd on the Esperanto example part. O.o I understood it. Maybe because I lived 5 years in Miami and I know quite a bit of spanish but refuse to speak it. I also know a little French and Portuguese. I use to know some Chinese, but I forgot it all due to lack of practice. "La Japania oni havas granda arton" just sounded like a mix of stuff...excluding the Chinese lol. Sounded a little Latin, too, but yet again, every Romance language derives from Latin, which includes, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, Romanian, and something else...I'm forgetting something. Grr >.< Lol.
Aaaaa, Yiddish, I seeee. Hebrew? Nice. The only language I speak fluently is English. It's really sad, lol. I wish I was taught how to speak French, but nope, never was. Sucks, I like the French language. _________________ Karissa

Esperanto has characteristics of several languages, which makes it the perfect (or near perfect) universal language.
Yeah, Hebrew was my second language. However, I still don't know many words; yet, I can read it perfectly. Go figure. u.u
The only reason I ever wanted to learn French was so that I could understand Wakfu, without waiting for it to be translated. XD _________________
Lol, I just find French interesting. :DDD
I'm hoping that I can take a class or something. Lol. _________________ Karissa

I start school in September. I should be nervous, I'm going to be a junior and attending a college prep school, but for some reason, I'm not. Towards the end of it, summer begins to bore me and I just want to be behind books again. But then, come March and I'm itching to get out.
I love school, I do. I'm upset I'm almost done with it though. I don't want to grow up and go to college and get a job... The world's too big and at times I feel like I can handle it, but most of the time, I'll do anything to be a little kid again.
Anyone know what I mean? _________________
