I recently purchased a Gt50 head off ebay . Tried her out and I'm having major squeals and other strange noises.Anyone have any idea where to begin looking for the problem? :?

hi david, i would double check all cords and easy stuff like that, then service the amp, clean pots and jacks, and then try diffrent preamp tubes. all of this should be done anyway when you get somthing second hand, give me some more specifics and i might be able to help more. the main thing is start with the easy stuff then crack her open.
