I was just thinking about tattoos and I thought I'd post this thread to ask you guys about any tattoos/piercings you have, or would want to get in the future, or would get but doubt you ever would.
I personally don't have any personal liking towards piercings, especially massive amounts. I've always wanted to get a piercing in my ear cartilage, and in my belly button, for no reason whatsoever. I doubt I will, because I just about had an anxiety attack when I got normal ear piercings. (Which technically didn't even hurt. I'm just uber paranoid.)
But anyway, I mostly posted this for tattoos. I recently became kind of, basically obsessed with Heath Ledger. (I'm actually suffering because I want to see The Dark Knight for the second time so bad. =/ And I just saw Brokeback Mountain the other day<3 It was so cute and heartbreaking.) And he had tattoos, and they all had a meaning behind them and I decided I would really like to have images permanently on my skin that had an emotional connection.
Sadly, I would really like to get a tattoo on both of my wrists, which is basically like, the worst place EVAR to get tattoos because the veins are so close to the skin. and I have SUCH a low tolerance for pain. xDD It's horrible.
But anyway, I'd like to get either Heath Ledger's signature of his name (minus his last name) on the inside of my wrist, or his initials. Someone actually got Heath's eyes, one of each of her wrists, and she says that whenever shes feels down, she just puts her wrists together and feels instantly comforted. But I'd still like to maintain some originality. (And I still have three years to decide, lol. Though my mom did say that if I ever wanted to get a tattoo, she wanted to come with because she LOVES tattoos and would want to get one herself, haha.) I also want get a rainbow somewhere, along with a piece sign. And maybe 'RDJ' on my ankle for Robert Downey Jr. (I'm crazy, I admit that.) I'm hoping by the time I'm older I'll have much more emotionally deep ideas, though. My first tattoo is DEFINITELY going to be a tribute to Heath Ledger, though. :3
I only have 2 peircings >.< Lol. But, my mom asked me if I wanted my nose peirced! And that was when I was 13 that she asked. She kept on asking me, saying, "We can go do it now if you want." Lol, she's insane...she has 8 peircings and 2 tattoos. She's more like a sister than a mother.
EDIT: I forgot to add that she offered to peirce my upper ear herself...she's done 3 of her peircing and several of her friends' peircings, but still...I don't know if I want her to do that >.> Lol. _________________ Karissa

Haha, my mom keeps talking about how she wants to get her eyebrow pierced and get a tattoo, but I think she wants to go with someone to get it done, so she's waiting for either my sister or myself to get one, lol.
Lol, I usually don't like trusting strangers with myself (I actually cut my own hair; whenever I go to the salon, they always butcher it), but I think I would want a professional to give me a piercing, personally. xDD _________________
A few years ago (from when I was 12-15), I had 7 piercings in my ears. Three in each lobe, and one at the top of my left ear. However, due to work and P.E, I was always forced to take them out, and I got sick of having to do that so I just stopped wearing them altogether. Now, all of the holes have grown in, so... if I ever got my ears re-pierced, I'd only get them done once.
I also wouldn't mind getting my tongue pierced, but my mom would probably flip out if I ever did that. Or my bellybutton, but unfortunately, I don't have the bellybutton to do that.
I was also thinking of getting a tattoo one day. Probably when I turn 18... somewhere on my back. I don't know what OF just yet, though. _________________ Lizwin: My Anti-Drug
Yeah, my mother doesn't feel like taking me to a professional (which I would much prefer, no matter how many times my mother has done it >.<) so, she offers to do it and she knows that I won't let her do it...or I'm a little sketchy about her doing it, so that means that I will just stick with two peircings...she is so weird sometimes...
I can't cut my own hair...I'll be the one butchering it. But, I only go to one lady to cut my hair...she's the only one who can cut it really nicely. She gave me an amazing pixie cut. ^.^ _________________ Karissa

Wait! I do remember one time that I cut my hair....Yeah...I was 5 and really wanted bangs...they were about half an inch long. And I did it with saftey scissors, one week before my ballet recital...My mom was pissed. Then, she had to use jello to slick back my hair for the recital. I only have my ears pierced once. My mom got them pierced for me when I was months old. Haha. But I want a second hole & the top of my right ear pierced too! I want my belly button pierced too! I kinda want my lip pierced, but I dont think I could pull it off. Lol.
I want tattoos too! On my wrists, I want the words 'No Lies, Just Love' [like Here]. Then I wanted a checkered heart with my dad's name/RIP on the upper left side of my back. Then on my lower back [me&my friends call it the tramp stamp. haha] I want a heart in the middle & on either side of the heart, a gun is shooting. [like the shots collide in the middle to create the heart]. & Last, on the back of my neck, I want in all caps DGAF. haha.
My tattoos are probably stupid, but those are the ones I want ;] _________________

I'm such a plain jane, I have just the regular ear piercings.
No tattoos, sometimes I think small ones can look nice. But I could never decide on something that I would DEFINATELY want to keep m whole life. _________________ ....In The End.... Only Kindness Matters.....
Lol I have 3 piercings in my left ear, 4 in my right. Had five in each but some of them got infected so I had to take them out. But within the next few months I'm getting more, as well as my eyebrow, my nose and eventually my bellybutton.
I also have my lip pierced. On the right side...so I guess...half a snakebite? Lol I don't know what it's called.
I also have 4 tattoos and plan on getting many, many more. One of my roommates is a tattoo artist so I get all mine done for free.
As for getting tattoos on your wrist, that's where I got my first two and it REALLY REALLY hurts. But then again I'm a chicken when it comes to pain. But if you can handle it there, anywhere else is a piece of cake.
And it is something you should put a lot of thought into....once you got it, your stuck

I only have the basic normal ear peircings. I had my ears peirced above the first holes when I was around 12 but they got infected and grew in again. If I could, and wasn't such a wimp, I would get my belly button peirced, and my second set of holes repeirced. I would also likely get a peircing in the top of my left ear.
If I could get a tattoo (which I'll never be able to do because of stupid health reasons) It would probably be a butterfly (Yeah, I guess i'm that girly but I have an obsession with butterflies) on my lower back or in between my shoulder blades (or have a small one on my shoulder).
btw: the health hazards that prevent me are hardly real reasons! It's bad stuff that could happen to anyone who got a tattoo but I can't get one because of heart problems (like I had surgery as a kid). _________________ http://www.fanfiction.net/~allybooklover6677

I'm not that into piercings. I had my ears pierced before I even turned one, and earings just bother me. I only wear them on special occaisons. I haven't worn earings in years, actually. My holes still haven't closed up, though.
I think piercings look awesome, but just not on me.
However, I do want a tattoo on my wrist. Either of a cross (I know, not very original) or this little heart-with-spiked-wings thing I draw all over the place. Preferably the heart right now, because it's something I came up with myself and it looks awesome. I draw it on myself a lot.
I do cut my own hair, though! Sometimes. _________________
