I watched 'Derek Denies Denial' on Disney because I couldn't take it but the episode pissed me off and it resulted in this dream:

I was flipping channels when I realized a new episode of LwD was on and I was like OMG how did I not know. I looked at the info and it said 'The After Effect' This is how the family (mostly Casey) reacted to when Derek got back with Sally. I was so excited I was screaming, dancing, and jumping up and down. Then I sat down to watch it Casey was writing in her journal and everything she wrote she said in a thought. "Dear Journal, Well Derek may not know this but he did the meanest thing he could have done which was go back out with Sally." Tear rushed to Casey's eyes, one landed right on the paper she circled it. "Well you see Derek broke up with Sally because she was going to a far away college, and I was so excited I went into my room and put music on and started dancing and jumping. But I also had to be the caring STEPsis that I am and I tried to help Edwin get them back together. They did but then Derek...Derek." More tears filled her eyes she couldn't write it down, she threw her journal and sat on her bed staring at it. She took a deep breath and grabbed her journal and started writing again. "Told Sally that this is the best relationship he has been in and then he indirectly told her he...he..." More and more tears came she was crying like crazy. "loved her. It was the most painful thing he has ever done. And he doesnt even know that since the party when we got locked in our bathroom, that's when I started falling in love with him and when he broke up with her I thought I had a chance but now that he told her that stuff, I'll...."
She started crying harder and harder. "never have a chance." As soon a she wrote that one teardrop fell on Derek's name, she put a heart around it. Casey couldn't take it she had to tell someone. She grabbed her phone and texted Lizzie and told her to get to her room NOW and when Casey texts Lizzie she means business. Lizzie opened Casey's door. "What's wrong Casey?" Lizzie sat down and comforted her sister. "Lizzie, C-can you shut the d-door, please?" Lizzie got up and shut the door and sat back down. "Is it Max?" Lizzie asked with worried eyes. "No,no It's..." Casey handed Lizzie her journal. Lizzie read it and put it down and was shocked "Casey, you l-like, i mean love D-" She was cut off by her sister's hand which was at her mouth. "Please don't say it a-aloud I-I can't take it." Casey started crying more. "C-can y-you get E-
Edwin too, please?" Lizzie hugged her sister "No problem." Lizzie and Edwin came back seconds later. Edwin saw Casey crying and bent down and hugged her "What's wrong, Casey?" She handed him her journal. His mouth dropped open, he knew that Derek feels the exact same way. "You need to talk to Derek." Grabbing Casey's hand and Lizzie grabbing the other pulling her off the bed. "Why he broke my heart, what is he gonna do now break my ego with some stupid insult?" Lizzie grabbed Casey's journal and they walked to Derek's door. Edwin knocked "Hey Bro it's me." Derek heard crying and opened the door. Casey turned around and hugged Lizzie "Liz, I can't do this!" Lizzie whispered back "Yes you can." Casey turned back around, and Derek saw Casey, he hates it when she crys and feels like he's been punched in the gut. They walked into Derek's room and sat on his bed. Lizzie handed the journal to Edwin who stood up. Casey yanked Edwin's shirt and mouthed the words I can do it. Edwin sat down and handed her the journal. "Okay what's going o-" He was cut off when Casey shoved her journal in his hands. Casey's ran back to the bed, and contiuned crying. Derek sat down in his chair, as he read he looked up at Casey every other word, like he couldn't believe what he was reading. Does she really feel this way, well she must she wrote it. Derek finished it and walked up to Casey and pulled her up off the bed and hugged her. Casey nuzzled her head in his shoulder. "Looks like our job is done." Edwin said jestering at the two hugging. Lizzie nodded. They were at the door and looked back and Casey looked up and mouthed the words Thank you. They walked out and shut the door. Derek whispered in her ear "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you like this." Derek pulled away and made sure Casey had her attention on him. "I love you." He said quietly. Casey leaned in and kissed him. "So does that mean you love me too?" Derek said with his classic smirk across his face. Casey pulled him into another kiss. Then it ended and the credits rolled, they were of when Derek was trying to tell Casey "I love you" but he kept laughing and so did Ash. One was of Casey throwing her journal and she kept missing her mark or something.

Okayy It didn't seem this long when I dreamed it, but I woke up and was really really sad because sadly I knew it was fake.

I would love it if that was an actual episode and I would love it even more if Daphne Ballon had written it (i do't een know why)!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow you remembered so much detail from your dream... I too would love it if this episode was real. *sigh*. But seriously, it does sound like that's what Ed and Liz would do for Casey. And Casey being all emotional and stuff. And even Derek's personality seemed more in canon than in "Derek Denies Denial", which, in my opinion, is a failure not just in Daseyness but as a LWD episode. I mean, unless there were some seriously deep messages and ulterior motives embedded in it, i don't think it's an episode worth watching when it airs on tv... shame... I really hate Daphne Ballon right now. She should leave the writing to the rest of the LWD writers...
