I love that too! I'm watching it right now. I do have one question though, why would Emily, who likes Derek (at least at the time), tell Casey that she was lucky to be Derek's step sister?
It made me think of Dasey right away.

too bad she didn't let go of her crush right away! She could have gotten Derek and Casey together before the first season ended (well, maybe not. But she could have tried.)
